with the best gifts of the earth and its fullness and the favor of him who dwelt in the burning bush. Let all these rest on the head of Joseph, on the brow of the prince among his brothers.

民嘗拒摩西、云、誰立爾為有司刑官耶、而上帝託棘中所見之使者、遣摩西為有司救主、

耶和華之使、於棘火焰中顯現。摩西見棘焚而不燬、曰、我必回步履、睹此異象、棘焚不燬、曷故。耶和華上帝見摩西回步履、則自棘中呼之曰、摩西、摩西。

大地萬有、耶和華主宰之兮、

論死者復生、上帝云、我乃亞伯拉罕之上帝、以撒之上帝、雅各之上帝、載在摩西書棘中篇、爾未讀乎、

既設、約瑟一席、十一人一席、共食之、埃及人一席、緣埃及人與希百來族同席、以為不屑。

上則榮歸上帝、下則和平、人沐恩澤矣、

天地歸爾統轄、寰宇萬物、咸爾所定兮。

設有告爾者曰、此祭偶像之物、則勿食、以告爾者、亦心疑故也、蓋天下萬物、無不屬主、

敵馬噴氣、聞自但邑、驊騮嘶鳴、遍地震動、彼至斯土、吞噬邑眾、以及土產。

爾可速返、見父告之曰、汝子約瑟言、上帝立我為埃及宰、請來此、毋稽留。爾及子孫牛羊、與凡所有、居於坷山、與我伊邇。饑饉尚有五年、我供養爾、庶免眷聚、與凡所有者匱乏。

我之祭司長應為敬虔、無不善、無纖垢、遠乎罪人、直造乎天之極、

以實馬利人素居米田、為賈於外、將經其處、諸兄乃援約瑟出井、鬻之於賈、獲金二十。以實馬利人挈約瑟往埃及。○

蓋莫大此默示、恐我自高、故身受刺、任撒但之役擊我、使我不得自高、吾三求主、以此離我、主曰、吾恩與爾足矣、人益柔、則吾之能益彰、故余欣然、寧誇吾柔、使基督之能庇我、吾為基督、以荏弱、凌辱、災害、窘逐、阨窮、為喜、蓋吾柔時反能矣、

約瑟於埃及家為僕、耶和華祐之、使之亨通。厥主見耶和華祐之、所為無不亨通。

爾父之福、恆久不已、勝於亙古山嶽所出之寶物、昔約瑟遠兄弟而去、此福必歸其首。

逾四十載、於西乃山野、棘火焰中、主之使者、顯與摩西、摩西見而奇之、近前諦視、聞主聲曰、我乃爾祖之上帝、即亞伯拉罕之上帝、以撒之上帝、雅各之上帝也、摩西戰慄不敢視、主曰、解爾履、爾所立之處聖地也、

蓋天地萬有、無不屬主、

米田賈攜約瑟至埃及、鬻與法老臣侍衛長波提乏。
