以地及盈地者之寶、以蒙居荊棘者之恩、願此福歸於約瑟之首、或作願居荊棘者之恩歸約瑟之首降於兄弟中最尊者之頂、

“ This Moses whom they rejected, saying,‘ Who made you a ruler and a judge?’ is the one God sent to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the Angel who appeared to him in the bush.

And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. The earth is the LORD’s, and all its fullness, The world and those who dwell therein.

The heavens are Yours, the earth also is Yours; The world and all its fullness, You have founded them.

“ Hurry and go up to my father, and say to him,‘ Thus says your son Joseph:“ God has made me Lord of all Egypt; come down to me, do not tarry.You shall dwell in the land of Goshen, and you shall be near to me, you and your children, your children’s children, your flocks and your herds, and all that you have.There I will provide for you, lest you and your household, and all that you have, come to poverty; for there are still five years of famine.”’

For such a High Priest was fitting for us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens;

Then Midianite traders passed by; so the brothers pulled Joseph up and lifted him out of the pit, and sold him to the Ishmaelites for twenty shekels of silver. And they took Joseph to Egypt.

“ If I were hungry, I would not tell you; For the world is Mine, and all its fullness.

For when I am weak, then I am strong.

The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.And his master saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord made all he did to prosper in his hand.

The blessings of your father Have excelled the blessings of my ancestors, Up to the utmost bound of the everlasting hills. They shall be on the head of Joseph, And on the crown of the head of him who was separate from his brothers.

“ And when forty years had passed, an Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire in a bush, in the wilderness of Mount Sinai.When Moses saw it, he marveled at the sight; and as he drew near to observe, the voice of the Lord came to him,saying,‘ I am the God of your fathers— the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.’ And Moses trembled and dared not look.‘ Then the Lord said to him,“ Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.
