“百姓曾拒绝这位摩西，说，‘谁立你做我们的首领和审判官？’上帝却借着在荆棘中显现的天使亲自差遣他，立他为首领和拯救者。

忽然有耶和华的天使在荆棘里的火焰中向他显现。摩西看见荆棘虽然在燃烧，却没有被烧毁。摩西想：“我要过去看这个奇异的景象，荆棘为什么没有被烧掉呢？”耶和华上帝见他要上前观看，就从荆棘丛中呼唤他说：“摩西！摩西！”摩西说：“我在这里。”

大地和其中的万物都属于耶和华，世上的一切都是祂的。

关于死人复活的事，你们没有读过摩西书有关火中荆棘的记载吗？上帝对摩西说，‘我是亚伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝。’

约瑟自己一桌，他的弟兄们一桌，那些和他们一起吃饭的埃及人一桌，因为埃及人厌恶和希伯来人同席。

“在至高之处，愿荣耀归于上帝！在地上，愿平安临到祂所喜悦的人！”

天地都属于你，世界和其中的一切都是你造的。

不过，如果有人告诉你这些是献给偶像的祭物，你为了那告诉你的人和良心的缘故，就不要吃。

“从但传来敌人战马的嘶鸣，声音震动大地。他们要来吞灭我们的土地和作物、城邑和居民。

你们快回去告诉父亲，他儿子约瑟说，‘上帝已经使我管理整个埃及，请他立刻来这里。他可以带着他的子孙、牛羊及一切所有住在歌珊。那里离我很近，我可以奉养他，以免他和全家老少及仆婢牲畜都陷入绝境，因为还有五年的饥荒。’

我们所需要的，正是这样一位圣洁无瑕、良善纯全、远离罪恶、超越诸天的大祭司。

于是，那些米甸商人经过的时候，他们就把约瑟从井里拉上来，以二百二十克银子的价钱把他卖给了以实玛利人。这些商人把他带到埃及去了。

就是我饿了，也不用告诉你，因为世界和其中的一切都是我的。

为了使我不至于因所受的启示太大而自高，有一根“刺”在我身上，就是有撒旦的爪牙攻击我，免得我骄傲自大。我曾三次祈求主叫这根刺离开我，但祂说：“我的恩典足够你用，因为我的能力在人的软弱上更显得全备。”所以，我更喜欢夸耀自己的软弱，好让基督的能力荫庇我。因此，为了基督的缘故，我欣然面对软弱、凌辱、迫害、艰难和困苦，因为我软弱的时候也正是我刚强的时候。

约瑟住在他的埃及主人家中，耶和华与他同在，使他凡事亨通。他主人看出耶和华与他同在，使他凡事亨通，

你父亲的祝福高过亘古永存的峰峦，多如绵延无尽的群山，愿这一切的祝福都临到约瑟头上，临到这超越众弟兄的人身上。

“过了四十年，在西奈山的旷野，上帝的天使在荆棘火焰中向摩西显现。摩西见状很惊奇，正要上前看个究竟，就听见主说，‘我是你祖先的上帝，是亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的上帝。’摩西战战兢兢，不敢观看。主又说，‘脱下你脚上的鞋子，因为你所站的地方是圣地。

因为世界和其中的万物都属于主。

那些米甸人把约瑟带到埃及后，把他卖给了法老的内臣——护卫长波提乏。
