He said about Joseph: May his land be blessed by the LORD with the dew of heaven’s bounty and the watery depths that lie beneath;

About Joseph he said:“ May the Lord bless his land with the precious dew from heaven above and with the deep waters that lie below;

Here’s what Moses said about Joseph.“ May the Lord bless Joseph’s land. May he bless it with dew from the highest heavens. May he bless it with water from the deepest oceans.

And of Joseph he said,“ Blessed by the Lord be his land, with the choicest gifts of heaven above, and of the deep that crouches beneath,

Moses said this about the tribes of Joseph:“ May their land be blessed by the Lord with the precious gift of dew from the heavens and water from beneath the earth;

Of Joseph he said,“ Blessed of the Lord be his land, With the choice things of heaven, with the dew, And from the deep waters lying beneath,

And of Joseph he said:“ Blessed of the Lord is his land, With the precious things of heaven, with the dew, And the deep lying beneath,

And of Joseph he said, Blessed of Jehovah be his land, For the precious things of heaven, for the dew, And for the deep that coucheth beneath,

He said about Joseph: May his land be blessed by the Lord with the dew of heaven’s bounty and the watery depths that lie beneath;

Joseph is a fruitful vine, a fruitful vine beside a spring; its branches climb over the wall.The archers attacked him, shot at him, and were hostile toward him.Yet his bow remained steady, and his strong arms were made agile by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob, by the name of the Shepherd, the Rock of Israel,by the God of your father who helps you, and by the Almighty who blesses you with blessings of the heavens above, blessings of the deep that lies below, and blessings of the breasts and the womb.The blessings of your father excel the blessings of my ancestors and the bounty of the ancient hills. May they rest on the head of Joseph, on the brow of the prince of his brothers.

Then the remnant of Jacob will be among many peoples like dew from the LORD, like showers on the grass, which do not wait for anyone or linger for mankind.

By his knowledge the watery depths broke open, and the clouds dripped with dew.

Then he blessed Joseph and said: The God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked, the God who has been my shepherd all my life to this day,the angel who has redeemed me from all harm— may he bless these boys. And may they be called by my name and the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac, and may they grow to be numerous within the land.When Joseph saw that his father had placed his right hand on Ephraim’s head, he thought it was a mistake and took his father’s hand to move it from Ephraim’s head to Manasseh’s.Joseph said to his father,“ Not that way, my father! This one is the firstborn. Put your right hand on his head.”But his father refused and said,“ I know, my son, I know! He too will become a tribe, and he too will be great; nevertheless, his younger brother will be greater than he, and his offspring will become a populous nation.”So he blessed them that day, putting Ephraim before Manasseh when he said,“ The nation Israel will invoke blessings by you, saying,‘ May God make you like Ephraim and Manasseh.’”

For the LORD said to me: I will quietly look out from my place, like shimmering heat in sunshine, like a rain cloud in harvest heat.

Your two sons born to you in the land of Egypt before I came to you in Egypt are now mine. Ephraim and Manasseh belong to me just as Reuben and Simeon do.

My roots will have access to water, and the dew will rest on my branches all night.

May God give to you— from the dew of the sky and from the richness of the land— an abundance of grain and new wine.May peoples serve you and nations bow in worship to you. Be master over your relatives; may your mother’s sons bow in worship to you. Those who curse you will be cursed, and those who bless you will be blessed.

Your people will volunteer on your day of battle. In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, the dew of your youth belongs to you.

And Joseph said to his father,“ They are my sons God has given me here.” So Israel said,“ Bring them to me and I will bless them.”

I will be like the dew to Israel; he will blossom like the lily and take root like the cedars of Lebanon.

Let my teaching fall like rain and my word settle like dew, like gentle rain on new grass and showers on tender plants.

A king’s rage is like the roaring of a lion, but his favor is like dew on the grass.

“ For they will sow in peace: the vine will yield its fruit, the land will yield its produce, and the skies will yield their dew. I will give the remnant of this people all these things as an inheritance.
