because you trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because you didn’t uphold my holiness among the children of Israel.

因為在荀曠野，在加低斯的米利巴泉旁，你和亞倫對我不忠，沒有在以色列人中尊我為聖。

因為你們在尋的曠野、在加低斯、米利巴水的事上、在以色列人中間你們對我不忠實，在以色列人中間你們沒有尊我為聖。

昔在尋野、加低斯米利巴水、爾曹不於以色列人中、尊我為聖、干罪於我、

昔在汛野、米利巴迦鐵之處爾曹逆我、不於以色列族前尊我、

因昔在汛野、在迦叠米利巴水、爾曹在以色列人中違逆我、不在其中尊我為聖故、

This is because both of you broke faith with me in the presence of the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin and because you did not uphold my holiness among the Israelites.

You and Aaron disobeyed me in front of the Israelites. It happened at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin. You did not honor me among the Israelites as the holy God.

because you broke faith with me in the midst of the people of Israel at the waters of Meribah-kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin, and because you did not treat me as holy in the midst of the people of Israel.

For both of you betrayed me with the Israelites at the waters of Meribah at Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin. You failed to demonstrate my holiness to the people of Israel there.

For both of you broke faith with me among the Israelites at the Waters of Meribath-kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin by failing to treat me as holy in their presence.

because you broke faith with Me in the midst of the sons of Israel at the waters of Meribah kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin, because you did not treat Me as holy in the midst of the sons of Israel.

because you trespassed against Me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah Kadesh, in the Wilderness of Zin, because you did not hallow Me in the midst of the children of Israel.

because ye trespassed against me in the midst of the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

For both of you broke faith with Me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribath-kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin by failing to treat Me as holy in their presence.

Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

for both of you rebelled against me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the desert of Zin when you did not show me proper respect among the Israelites.

because in the strife of the congregation, you rebelled against my word in the wilderness of Zin, to honor me as holy at the waters before their eyes.”( These are the waters of Meribah of Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.)

Moses lifted up his hand, and struck the rock with his rod twice, and water came out abundantly. The congregation and their livestock drank.Yahweh said to Moses and Aaron,“ Because you didn’t believe in me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”These are the waters of Meribah; because the children of Israel strove with Yahweh, and he was sanctified in them.Moses sent messengers from Kadesh to the king of Edom, saying:“ Your brother Israel says: You know all the travail that has happened to us;

Then Moses said to Aaron,“ This is what Yahweh spoke of, saying,‘ I will show myself holy to those who come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” Aaron held his peace.

For the time has come for judgment to begin with the household of God. If it begins first with us, what will happen to those who don’t obey the Good News of God?

I begged Yahweh at that time, saying,“ Lord Yahweh, you have begun to show your servant your greatness, and your strong hand. For what god is there in heaven or in earth that can do works like yours, and mighty acts like yours?Please let me go over and see the good land that is beyond the Jordan, that fine mountain, and Lebanon.”But Yahweh was angry with me because of you, and didn’t listen to me. Yahweh said to me,“ That is enough! Speak no more to me of this matter.Go up to the top of Pisgah, and lift up your eyes westward, and northward, and southward, and eastward, and see with your eyes; for you shall not go over this Jordan.

“ Aaron shall be gathered to his people; for he shall not enter into the land which I have given to the children of Israel, because you rebelled against my word at the waters of Meribah.

and he cried out to the man of God who came from Judah, saying,“ Yahweh says,‘ Because you have been disobedient to Yahweh’s mouth, and have not kept the commandment which Yahweh your God commanded you,but came back, and have eaten bread and drank water in the place of which he said to you,“ Eat no bread, and drink no water;” your body will not come to the tomb of your fathers.’”After he had eaten bread, and after he drank, he saddled the donkey for the prophet whom he had brought back.When he had gone, a lion met him by the way and killed him. His body was thrown on the path, and the donkey stood by it. The lion also stood by the body.Behold, men passed by, and saw the body thrown on the path, and the lion standing by the body; and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet lived.When the prophet who brought him back from the way heard of it, he said,“ It is the man of God who was disobedient to Yahweh’s mouth. Therefore Yahweh has delivered him to the lion, which has mauled him and slain him, according to Yahweh’s word, which he spoke to him.”

Yahweh of Armies is who you must respect as holy. He is the one you must fear. He is the one you must dread.
