昔在尋野、加低斯米利巴水、爾曹不於以色列人中、尊我為聖、干罪於我、

昔在汛野、米利巴迦鐵之處爾曹逆我、不於以色列族前尊我、

因昔在汛野、在迦叠米利巴水、爾曹在以色列人中違逆我、不在其中尊我為聖故、

This is because both of you broke faith with me in the presence of the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin and because you did not uphold my holiness among the Israelites.

You and Aaron disobeyed me in front of the Israelites. It happened at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin. You did not honor me among the Israelites as the holy God.

because you broke faith with me in the midst of the people of Israel at the waters of Meribah-kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin, and because you did not treat me as holy in the midst of the people of Israel.

For both of you betrayed me with the Israelites at the waters of Meribah at Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin. You failed to demonstrate my holiness to the people of Israel there.

For both of you broke faith with me among the Israelites at the Waters of Meribath-kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin by failing to treat me as holy in their presence.

because you broke faith with Me in the midst of the sons of Israel at the waters of Meribah kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin, because you did not treat Me as holy in the midst of the sons of Israel.

because you trespassed against Me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah Kadesh, in the Wilderness of Zin, because you did not hallow Me in the midst of the children of Israel.

because ye trespassed against me in the midst of the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

For both of you broke faith with Me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribath-kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin by failing to treat Me as holy in their presence.

Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

for both of you rebelled against me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the desert of Zin when you did not show me proper respect among the Israelites.

because you trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because you didn’t uphold my holiness among the children of Israel.

因为你们在寻的旷野，当会众争闹的时候，违背了我的命令，在取水之事上没有在会众眼前尊我为圣。”这水就是寻的旷野中，加低斯的米利巴水。

摩西举起手来，用杖击打磐石两下，就有许多水流出来，会众和他们的牲畜都喝了。但是耶和华对摩西、亚伦说：“因为你们不信我，没有在以色列人眼前尊我为圣，所以你们必不能领这会众进入我所要赐给他们的地去。”这就是米利巴水，因以色列人与耶和华争闹，耶和华在他们面前显为圣。摩西从加低斯差遣使者到以东王那里，说：“你的弟兄以色列这样说：‘你知道我们所遭遇的一切困难。

于是，摩西对亚伦说：“这就是耶和华所吩咐的，说：‘我在那亲近我的人中要显为圣；在全体百姓面前，我要得着荣耀。’”亚伦就默默不言。

因为时候到了，审判要从神的家开始；若是先从我们开始，那么，不信从神福音的人将有何等的结局呢？

“那时，我恳求耶和华说：‘主耶和华啊，你已开始将你的伟大和你大能的手显给你仆人看。在天上，在地下，有什么神明能像你行事，像你有大能的作为呢？求你让我过去，看约旦河另一边的美地，就是那佳美的山区和黎巴嫩。’但耶和华因你们的缘故向我发怒，不应允我。耶和华对我说：‘你够了吧！不要再向我提这事。你上毗斯迦山顶去，向东、西、南、北举目，用你的眼睛观看，因为你必不能过这约旦河。

“亚伦要归到他祖先那里。他必不得进入我所赐给以色列人的地，因为你们在米利巴水的事上违背了我的指示。

他就对从犹大来的神人宣告说：“耶和华如此说：‘你既违背耶和华的指示，不遵守耶和华—你神的命令，反倒回来，在耶和华禁止你吃饭喝水的地方吃了饭喝了水，因此你的尸体必不得葬在你祖先的坟墓里。’”神人吃喝完了，老先知为他带回来的先知备驴。神人就去了，在路上有只狮子遇见他，把他咬死。他的尸体倒在路上，驴站在尸体旁边，狮子也站在尸体旁边。看哪，有人经过，看见尸体倒在路上，狮子站在尸体旁边，就来到老先知所住的城里述说这事。那带神人回来的先知听见了，就说：“这是那违背了耶和华指示的神人，所以耶和华把他交给狮子；狮子撕裂他，咬死他，正如耶和华对他说的话。”

但要尊万军之耶和华为圣，他才是你们所当怕的，所当畏惧的。
