This is because both of you broke faith with me in the presence of the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin and because you did not uphold my holiness among the Israelites.

You and Aaron disobeyed me in front of the Israelites. It happened at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the Desert of Zin. You did not honor me among the Israelites as the holy God.

because you broke faith with me in the midst of the people of Israel at the waters of Meribah-kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin, and because you did not treat me as holy in the midst of the people of Israel.

For both of you betrayed me with the Israelites at the waters of Meribah at Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin. You failed to demonstrate my holiness to the people of Israel there.

For both of you broke faith with me among the Israelites at the Waters of Meribath-kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin by failing to treat me as holy in their presence.

because you broke faith with Me in the midst of the sons of Israel at the waters of Meribah kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin, because you did not treat Me as holy in the midst of the sons of Israel.

because you trespassed against Me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah Kadesh, in the Wilderness of Zin, because you did not hallow Me in the midst of the children of Israel.

because ye trespassed against me in the midst of the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

For both of you broke faith with Me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribath-kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin by failing to treat Me as holy in their presence.

Because ye trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because ye sanctified me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

for both of you rebelled against me among the Israelites at the waters of Meribah Kadesh in the desert of Zin when you did not show me proper respect among the Israelites.

because you trespassed against me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah of Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because you didn’t uphold my holiness among the children of Israel.

因为会众在荀旷野反叛我的时候，你们二人没有按照我的指示取水，没有在他们面前尊我为圣。”耶和华指的是米利巴泉事件，发生在荀旷野的加低斯。

接着，摩西举起手中的杖击打磐石两下，水便喷涌而出，会众和牲畜都喝了。耶和华对摩西和亚伦说：“你们对我没有足够的信心，没有当着以色列人的面尊我为圣，所以你们不得带领会众进入我将要赐给他们的土地。”这地方叫米利巴泉，因为以色列人在那里埋怨耶和华，耶和华就向他们彰显了祂的圣洁。摩西从加低斯派使者去见以东王，说：“你的弟兄以色列人说，你知道我们遭遇的种种困难。

摩西告诉亚伦：“耶和华曾说过，‘我要在事奉我的人中显明我的圣洁，在所有子民面前彰显我的荣耀。’”亚伦默默无言。

因为时候到了，审判要先从上帝的家开始。如果审判要从我们开始，那些不信从上帝福音的人会有怎样的结局呢？

“那时，我恳求耶和华，说，‘主耶和华啊，你已向仆人彰显你的伟大和权能，天上地下没有神明可与你相比！求你让我过去看看约旦河那边的佳美之地——那美好的山区和黎巴嫩。’但因你们的缘故，耶和华向我发怒，不听我的恳求，祂对我说，‘够了，不要再跟我提这件事。你可以上毗斯迦山顶，向东南西北眺望，但你不可过约旦河。

“亚伦要去他祖先那里了，他不能进入我赐给以色列人的土地，因为你们在米利巴泉违背了我的命令。

他就对从犹大来的上帝的仆人说：“耶和华说，你违背了你的上帝耶和华的命令，没有遵从祂的吩咐，竟然在祂禁止你吃喝的地方吃饭喝水，因此你的尸体必不得安葬在你的祖坟里。”吃喝完了，老先知为他带回家的这位先知备驴启程，这位先知在路上遇到一头狮子，被咬死了，尸体倒在路上，驴和狮子都站在尸体旁边。过路的人看见尸体倒在路上，旁边还站着一头狮子，就去老先知住的城报告这事。老先知听到消息，就说：“这是上帝的仆人，他违背了耶和华的命令，所以耶和华让狮子咬死了他，正应验了耶和华的话。”

你们当尊万军之耶和华为圣，当敬畏祂，畏惧祂。
