此事非虛、非不關爾者、乃爾之生命、爾將渡約但以得地為業、亦可緣此久居於彼、○

此非淺鮮、乃爾生命所關、因是爾可於約但西所據之地、而享遐齡。

They are not just idle words for you— they are your life. By them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”

They aren’t just useless words for you. They are your very life. If you obey them, you will live in the land for a long time. It’s the land you are going across the Jordan River to take as your own.”

For it is no empty word for you, but your very life, and by this word you shall live long in the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess.”

These instructions are not empty words— they are your life! By obeying them you will enjoy a long life in the land you will occupy when you cross the Jordan River.”

謹守我律例法度、人若遵行、必因而得生、我乃主、

經載云、凡欲得生而平康度日者、則當捫舌勿言惡、守口無詭詐、去惡行善、求和平而從之、蓋主目眷顧義人、傾耳聽其祈禱、惟行惡之人、主則以怒容向之、○

持守智慧者、如得生命之樹、執持智慧者、悉有福、

然虔敬若兼知足、是大益也、我儕無所攜而出世、亦無所攜而去世、明矣、有衣食即當知足、

蓋身之練習、其益少、惟虔敬、則凡事皆益、有今生來生之應許、

爾當先求天主國與其義、則此諸物、必加於爾也、

我子、勿遺忘我之教誨、爾心當謹守我命令、因必使爾得長壽、亨遐齡、獲平康、

摩西論由律法之義、曰、人行此則可賴之得生、惟由信之義如斯云、勿心內曰、孰能升天、言使基督降下、
