此非淺鮮、乃爾生命所關、因是爾可於約但西所據之地、而享遐齡。

此事非虛、非不關爾者、乃爾之生命、爾將渡約但以得地為業、亦可緣此久居於彼、○

They are not just idle words for you— they are your life. By them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”

They aren’t just useless words for you. They are your very life. If you obey them, you will live in the land for a long time. It’s the land you are going across the Jordan River to take as your own.”

For it is no empty word for you, but your very life, and by this word you shall live long in the land that you are going over the Jordan to possess.”

These instructions are not empty words— they are your life! By obeying them you will enjoy a long life in the land you will occupy when you cross the Jordan River.”

For they are not meaningless words to you but they are your life, and by them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”

For it is not a trivial matter for you; indeed it is your life. And by this word you will prolong your days in the land, which you are about to cross the Jordan to possess.”

因为得到它们就得到生命，全身也必康健。

我们从前告诉你们有关主耶稣基督的大能和祂降临的事，并非根据巧妙虚构的神话，而是我们亲眼见过祂的威荣。

你们要遵守我的典章和律例。遵行的人必存活。我是耶和华。

她们必给你带来生命，作你颈项上华美的装饰。

因为我们认识了用自己的荣耀和美德呼召我们的上帝，上帝以祂神圣的能力将生命与敬虔所需要的一切赐给了我们。

那些洗净自己衣裳的人有福了！他们有权吃生命树的果子，也可以从城门进入城中。

今天，我叫天地为你们作证，我已把生死祸福摆在你们面前。选择生命吧，以便你们及子孙可以存活。要爱你们的上帝耶和华，听从祂的话，倚靠祂，因为祂是你们的生命，祂必使你们长久住在祂起誓赐给你们祖先亚伯拉罕、以撒和雅各的土地上。”

因为圣经上说：“若有人热爱生命，渴望幸福，就要舌头不出恶言，嘴唇不说诡诈的话。要弃恶行善，竭力追求和睦。因为主的眼睛看顾义人，祂的耳朵垂听他们的祈求。但主必严惩作恶之人。”

对持守智慧的人来说，智慧是生命树，紧握智慧的人必蒙祝福。

其实敬虔和知足才是真正的财富，因为我们空手来到世上，也要空手离开。只要有吃有穿，就该知足。

锻炼体魄益处还少，敬虔生活受益无穷，拥有今生和永世的应许。

“你们要先寻求上帝的国和祂的义，这一切都会赐给你们。

孩子啊，不要忘记我的训言，要把我的诫命存在心里，因为这必使你延年益寿，幸福平安。

关于律法的义，摩西写道：“人若遵行律法的诫命，就必活着。”但是论到以信心为基础的义，圣经上说：“不要心里说，‘谁要升到天上去呢？’意思是谁要把基督领下来，

我没有在隐秘处暗暗地说话，我没有对雅各的后裔说，‘你们找不到我。’我耶和华宣扬真理，传讲正义。
