要等待伸冤報應的日子，等待他們的腳顛躓的時候麼？因為他們遭遇災難的日子近了，那準備要臨到他們身上的就要迅速地來臨。

伸冤在我、其足躓時、我必報之、禍日伊邇、災難速臨、

伸冤在我、我必報之、斯時也、其足傾跌、禍及其身、所定速至。

懲罰在我我必報復、其足躓蹶必有其時、彼之受禍其日伊邇、當受之報速臨其身、

It is mine to avenge; I will repay. In due time their foot will slip; their day of disaster is near and their doom rushes upon them.”

I punish people. I will pay them back. The time will come when their feet will slip. Their day of trouble is near. Very soon they will be destroyed.”

Vengeance is mine, and recompense, for the time when their foot shall slip; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and their doom comes swiftly.’

I will take revenge; I will pay them back. In due time their feet will slip. Their day of disaster will arrive, and their destiny will overtake them.’

因為我們知道誰說：「伸冤在我，我必報應」；又說：「主要審判他的百姓。」

他們因有貪心，要用捏造的言語在你們身上取利。他們的刑罰，自古以來並不遲延；他們的滅亡也必速速來到。

親愛的弟兄，不要自己伸冤，寧可讓步，聽憑主怒；因為經上記着：「主說：『伸冤在我，我必報應。』」

耶和華是忌邪施報的神。耶和華施報大有忿怒；向他的敵人施報，向他的仇敵懷怒。

等我進了神的聖所，思想他們的結局。你實在把他們安在滑地，使他們掉在沉淪之中。他們轉眼之間成了何等的荒涼！他們被驚恐滅盡了。

親愛的弟兄啊，有一件事你們不可忘記，就是主看一日如千年，千年如一日。主所應許的尚未成就，有人以為他是躭延，其實不是躭延，乃是寬容你們，不願有一人沉淪，乃願人人都悔改。但主的日子要像賊來到一樣。那日，天必大有響聲廢去，有形質的都要被烈火銷化，地和其上的物都要燒盡了。

他發忿恨，誰能立得住呢？他發烈怒，誰能當得起呢？他的忿怒如火傾倒；磐石因他崩裂。

說：任他急速行，趕快成就他的作為，使我們看看；任以色列聖者所謀劃的臨近成就，使我們知道。

耶和華－你們的神未使黑暗來到，你們的腳未在昏暗山上絆跌之先，當將榮耀歸給他；免得你們盼望光明，他使光明變為死蔭，成為幽暗。

我快要將我的忿怒傾在你身上，向你成就我怒中所定的，按你的行為審判你，照你一切可憎的事刑罰你。我眼必不顧惜你，也不可憐你，必按你所行的報應你，照你中間可憎的事刑罰你。你就知道擊打你的是我耶和華。

許多人必在其上絆腳跌倒，而且跌碎，並陷入網羅，被纏住。」

所以，以色列的聖者如此說：因為你們藐視這訓誨的話，倚賴欺壓和乖僻，以此為可靠的，故此，這罪孽在你們身上，好像將要破裂凸出來的高牆，頃刻之間忽然坍塌；

因為這默示有一定的日期，快要應驗，並不虛謊。雖然遲延，還要等候；因為必然臨到，不再遲延。

你們外邦人當與主的百姓一同歡呼；因他要伸他僕人流血的冤，報應他的敵人，潔淨他的地，救贖他的百姓。

神的選民晝夜呼籲他，他縱然為他們忍了多時，豈不終久給他們伸冤嗎？我告訴你們，要快快地給他們伸冤了。然而，人子來的時候，遇得見世上有信德嗎？」

因此，他們的道路必像黑暗中的滑地，他們必被追趕，在這路中仆倒；因為當追討之年，我必使災禍臨到他們。這是耶和華說的。

至小的族要加增千倍；微弱的國必成為強盛。我－耶和華要按定期速成這事。

又說：作了絆腳的石頭，跌人的磐石。他們既不順從，就在道理上絆跌；他們這樣絆跌也是預定的。

耶和華啊，你是伸冤的神；伸冤的神啊，求你發出光來！

因為他是神的用人，是與你有益的。你若作惡，卻當懼怕，因為他不是空空地佩劍；他是神的用人，是伸冤的，刑罰那作惡的。

所以耶和華如此說：我要將絆腳石放在這百姓前面。父親和兒子要一同跌在其上；鄰舍與朋友也都滅亡。

惡人的道好像幽暗，自己不知因甚麼跌倒。
