I will send wasting famine against them, consuming pestilence and deadly plague; I will send against them the fangs of wild beasts, the venom of vipers that glide in the dust.

I will send them hunger. It will make them weak. I will send terrible sickness. I will send deadly plagues. I will send wild animals that will tear them apart. Snakes that glide through the dust will bite them.

使暴獸入爾境、攘爾子、食爾牲、致戶口凋殘、逵衢寂寞。

往於田、所見無非殺戮、入於邑、觸目盡是餓殍、先知祭司、往來貿易、不以為意。

維彼誑言、有若武士之利鏃、堅木之爇炭兮。

饑饉特甚、膚黑若爐兮。

俱遭慘死、無人哭泣、無人瘞埋、視若糞壤、亦有亡於鋒刃、死於饑饉、飛鳥走獸、食其尸骸。

雖匿於加密之巔、我將搜而出之、雖藏於大海之底、我必使蛇嚙之、

主耶和華又曰、我使四災降於耶路撒冷、鋒刃、饑饉、暴獸、瘟疫、使人畜靡有孑遺、其害豈非尤重乎。

狼羔共食無害、獅嚙蒭、猶之牛、蛇食塵、以果腹、遍我聖山、必無損害、我耶和華已言之矣。

未至之先、降以疫癘、既去之後、加以體熱、

以靜逸為可嘉、以土壤為美觀、仔肩而負荷、入貢以服役。

興雲而雨雹、電閃而炭燃兮。至上之耶和華、自天起雷、發其洪聲兮、電閃雹降、炭以之燃兮、電閃如矢、眾敵敗北兮、

我耶和華之日、其象若何、幽暗無光、爾曹欲其速至、禍不遠矣。譬諸人避獅而遇熊、入室附壁、為蛇所嚙、

耶和華上帝謂蛇曰、爾既為此、較之六畜百獸、必更見詛、爾必腹行、畢生食塵。

爾敵環而攻爾、勢甚危迫、使爾食己所生之子女、即爾上帝耶和華所賜者。

哺乳之嬰、厥口甚渴、齦閉舌卷兮、孩提求餅、無人擘而予之兮。素飫肥甘者、今亡於逵衢兮、昔衣絳袍、為人提抱者、今偃於糞壤兮。昔所多馬人蹈罪愆、忽致傾圮、非人使然兮、今我民犯罪遭刑、較彼尤甚兮。昔彼顯宦、皜皜無比、若雪之白、若乳之潔、色若珊瑚、體若青玉兮。今其容變黑、形消骨立、有若枯木、至彼市廛、無人識之兮。寧殞於鋒刃、不願死於饑饉、土產已絶、日漸衰微兮。

耶和華必使爾身勞、體瘧、氣熱、膚紅、亦使爾亡於刃、風暴五穀、細弱特甚、襲爾以災、迨爾翦滅。
