I will send wasting famine against them, consuming pestilence and deadly plague; I will send against them the fangs of wild beasts, the venom of vipers that glide in the dust.

I will send them hunger. It will make them weak. I will send terrible sickness. I will send deadly plagues. I will send wild animals that will tear them apart. Snakes that glide through the dust will bite them.

暗中流行之疫癘、午間勦滅之災患、爾皆不懼兮、

皆遘厲疾而死、無人哀哭、不得瘞埋、將於地上、同乎糞土、見滅於鋒刃饑饉、其尸為飛鳥野獸所食、

雖匿於迦密之巔、我必搜而出之、雖避我目、藏於海底、我必命蛇齧之、

主耶和華曰、我以我之四重災、即鋒刃、饑饉、暴獸、疫癘、降於耶路撒冷、絕其人畜、其害豈非尤甚乎、

狼與羔共食、獅齧芻若牛、蛇以塵為食、遍我聖山、無有損害殘滅、耶和華言之矣、

疫癘行於其前、火箭出於其下、

視安靜為可嘉、見土壤之甚美、鞠躬而負荷、作苦以服役、

由其前之光輝、冰雹炭火、經過密雲而出兮、耶和華自天起雷、至高者發其聲、並有冰雹炭火兮、彼發矢以潰敵、屢閃電而亂之兮、

爾望耶和華之日者禍哉、奚望耶和華之日、其日乃暗而非光也、如人避獅而遇熊、入室捫壁、被齧於蛇、

耶和華上帝謂蛇曰、爾既為此、較之六畜百獸、必更見詛、且以腹行、畢生食塵、

被圍之時、受敵窘迫、至食子女之肉、爾上帝耶和華所賜者、

哺乳之嬰、厥舌燥渴而黏腭兮、稚子求餅、無人擘而予之兮、素食珍饈者、今伶仃於街衢兮、素寢朱褥者、今偃臥於糞壤兮、我民女之愆尤、重於所多瑪之罪惡兮、彼傾覆於俄頃、非人手加之兮、昔彼之那細珥人、潔於雪、白於乳兮、其體紅於珊瑚、形若光澤之碧玉兮、今其容黑於炭、街市無人識之兮、其膚貼骨、枯槁如柴兮、戮於刃者、較死於飢者猶幸兮、因乏田間之產、日漸衰弱、如被刺兮、

耶和華必以癆疾、熱疾、炎疾、瘧疾、兵革、枯槁、霉爛擊爾、此災必追襲爾、致爾隕沒、
