For fire has been kindled because of My anger and burns to the depths of Sheol; it devours the land and its produce, and scorches the foundations of the mountains.

For a fire will be kindled by my wrath, one that burns down to the realm of the dead below. It will devour the earth and its harvests and set afire the foundations of the mountains.

My anger will start a fire. It will burn all the way down to the kingdom of the dead. It will eat up the earth and its crops. It will set the base of the mountains on fire.

The mountains will melt beneath Him, and the valleys will split apart, like wax near a fire, like water cascading down a mountainside.

“ Snakes! Brood of vipers! How can you escape being condemned to hell?

He removes mountains without their knowledge, overturning them in His anger.He shakes the earth from its place so that its pillars tremble.

Circumcise yourselves to the Lord; remove the foreskin of your hearts, men of Judah and residents of Jerusalem. Otherwise, My wrath will break out like fire and burn with no one to extinguish it because of your evil deeds.

Don’t fear those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul; rather, fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

And if your hand causes your downfall, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than to have two hands and go to hell— the unquenchable fire,

You will make them burn like a fiery furnace when you appear; the Lord will engulf them in His wrath, and fire will devour them.

Look, the Lord will come with fire— His chariots are like the whirlwind— to execute His anger with fury and His rebuke with flames of fire.For the Lord will execute judgment on all flesh with His fiery sword, and many will be slain by the Lord.

As fire burns a forest, as a flame blazes through mountains,

“ For indeed, the day is coming, burning like a furnace, when all the arrogant and everyone who commits wickedness will become stubble. The coming day will consume them,” says the Lord of Hosts,“ not leaving them root or branches.But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings, and you will go out and playfully jump like calves from the stall.

The mountains see You and shudder; a downpour of water sweeps by. The deep roars with its voice and lifts its waves high.

“ This is what the Lord God says: Certainly in My burning zeal I speak against the rest of the nations and all of Edom, who took My land as their own possession with wholehearted rejoicing and utter contempt so that its pastureland became plunder.

Though the mountains move and the hills shake, My love will not be removed from you and My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” says your compassionate Lord.

And if your eye causes your downfall, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye, rather than to have two eyes and be thrown into hellfire!

Therefore we will not be afraid, though the earth trembles and the mountains topple into the depths of the seas,

for our God is a consuming fire.

Lord, part Your heavens and come down. Touch the mountains, and they will smoke.

Then the earth shook and quaked; the foundations of the mountains trembled; they shook because He burned with anger.Smoke rose from His nostrils, and consuming fire came from His mouth; coals were set ablaze by it.

He has cut off every horn of Israel in His burning anger and withdrawn His right hand in the presence of the enemy. He has blazed against Jacob like a flaming fire that consumes everything.
