For a fire will be kindled by my wrath, one that burns down to the realm of the dead below. It will devour the earth and its harvests and set afire the foundations of the mountains.

Therefore will we not fear, though the earth do change, And though the mountains be shaken into the heart of the seas;

for our God is a consuming fire.

Bow thy heavens, O Jehovah, and come down: Touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.

Then the earth shook and trembled; The foundations also of the mountains quaked And were shaken, because he was wroth.There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, And fire out of his mouth devoured: Coals were kindled by it.

He hath cut off in fierce anger all the horn of Israel; He hath drawn back his right hand from before the enemy: And he hath burned up Jacob like a flaming fire, which devoureth round about.
