說，『這墮落的子民，不忠的兒女！我要掩面不理他們，看他們的結局如何。

说：‘我要向他们掩面，看他们的结局如何。他们本是极乖僻的族类，心中无诚实的儿女。

说：‘我要转脸离开他们，看他们的结局如何。他们是极乖谬的世代，是不忠实的儿女。

说：‘我要转脸离开他们，看他们的结局如何。他们是极乖谬的世代，是不忠实的儿女。

说，‘这堕落的子民，不忠的儿女！我要掩面不理他们，看他们的结局如何。

说：‘我必掩面不顾他们，要看看他们的结局怎样；因为他们是乖曲的一代，心里没有信实的人。

我要向他們掩面，看他們的結局如何。他們本是極乖僻的族類，心中無誠實的兒女。

說：『我要轉臉離開他們，看他們的結局如何。他們是極乖謬的世代，是不忠實的兒女。

說：‘我必掩面不顧他們，要看看他們的結局怎樣；因為他們是乖曲的一代，心裡沒有信實的人。

說：「我必掩面不顧他們，看他們的結局怎樣，因為他們是反覆乖張的一代，心裏沒有忠信的兒女。

曰、我將掩面、不加眷顧、觀其終局如何、彼乃乖戾之族、無誠信之子女、

曰、我不復鑒觀以眷顧之、必俟厥後當復如何、彼乃橫逆之族、無誠信之子、

即云我將掩面不顧之、觀其終境又將如何、彼乃乖戾違拗之類、雖為子女俱無誠信、

“ I will hide my face from them,” he said,“ and see what their end will be; for they are a perverse generation, children who are unfaithful.

“ I will turn my face away from them,” he said.“ I will see what will happen to them in the end. They are sinful people. They are unfaithful children.

And he said,‘ I will hide my face from them; I will see what their end will be, For they are a perverse generation, children in whom is no faithfulness.

He said,‘ I will abandon them; then see what becomes of them. For they are a twisted generation, children without integrity.

He said,“ I will hide my face from them; I will see what will become of them, for they are a perverse generation— unfaithful children.

Then He said,‘ I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end will be; For they are a perverse generation, Sons in whom there is no faithfulness.

And He said:‘ I will hide My face from them, I will see what their end will be, For they are a perverse generation, Children in whom is no faith.

And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: For they are a very perverse generation, Children in whom is no faithfulness.

He said:“ I will hide My face from them; I will see what will become of them, for they are a perverse generation— unfaithful children.

And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end[ shall be]: for they[ are] a very froward generation, children in whom[ is] no faith.

He said,“ I will reject them, I will see what will happen to them; for they are a perverse generation, children who show no loyalty.

He said,“ I will hide my face from them. I will see what their end will be; for they are a very perverse generation, children in whom is no faithfulness.

主又說：「我用什麼來比擬這個世代的人呢？他們像什麼呢？他們就如街頭上戲耍的孩童——彼此呼叫，『我們吹娶親的樂曲，你們不跳舞；我們唱送葬的哀歌，你們不哭泣。』

我整天伸出雙手招呼一群悖逆的百姓，他們卻任意妄為，不走正路，不斷地當面惹我發怒。他們在園中獻祭，在磚臺上燒香，坐在墳場裡，宿在隱秘處。他們吃豬肉，用不潔之物做湯，還對人說，『站遠點，別挨近我，因為我比你聖潔！』我被這些人氣得鼻孔冒煙，整天怒火難息。

那時，我要向他們發怒，離棄他們，掩面不理他們。他們將被吞滅，遭遇許多禍患和災難，以致他們會說，『這些禍患臨到我們豈不是因為上帝不在我們中間了嗎？』那時，我必掩面不理他們，因為他們祭拜別的神明，行為邪惡。

狡詐、墮落的一代啊，你們卻對祂不忠，行事敗壞，不配做祂的兒女。

我知道，我死後你們會徹底墮落，偏離我吩咐你們行的道，做耶和華視為惡的事，惹祂發怒，將來禍患必臨到你們。」

他們是悖逆的民族，是說謊的兒女，不肯聽從耶和華的教導。

你為何掩面不看我？為何把我當作仇敵？

耶穌說：「唉，這不信的世代啊！我要跟你們在一起待多久，容忍你們多久呢？把他帶到我這裡吧。」

我要在敵人面前驅散他們，就像東風吹散塵土一樣。在他們遭難的時候，我必以背相向，不理睬他們。」

無人呼求你，無人向你求助，因為你掩面不理我們，讓我們在自己的罪中滅亡。

耶穌說：「唉！這世代又不信又敗壞的人啊，我要跟你們在一起待多久？我要容忍你們多久呢？把他帶來吧。」

「這個世代的人好像什麼呢？他們好像一群在街上玩耍的兒童對別的孩子說，『我們吹娶親的樂曲，你們不跳舞；我們唱送葬的哀歌，你們不悲傷。』

第二天清晨，眾人起來去提哥亞的曠野。他們出發的時候，約沙法站著說：「猶大人和耶路撒冷的居民啊，請聽我說！要信靠你們的上帝耶和華，你們就必堅立；要相信祂的先知，你們就必得勝。」

你們縱然把孩子養大，我也要奪去他們的性命，一個也不留。我撇棄你們的時候，你們就有禍了！

以色列的都城是撒瑪利亞，撒瑪利亞的首領是利瑪利的兒子。你們信心若不堅定，必無法堅立。』」

但祂若保持緘默，誰能定祂有罪？祂若掩起臉來，誰能看得見祂？個人和國家都靠祂垂顧，

我告訴你們，祂必很快為他們伸冤。不過當人子來的時候，在世上找得到有信心的人嗎？」

沒有信心的人不能得到上帝的喜悅，因為來到上帝面前的人必須相信上帝存在，並相信祂會賞賜一切尋求祂的人。

並使我們能避開那些邪惡的人，因為不是人人都有信心。
