You have forgotten the Rock who fathered you, and put out of mind the God who gave you birth.

You deserted the Rock, who fathered you; you forgot the God who gave you birth.

But then they deserted the Rock. He was their Father. They forgot the God who created them.

You were unmindful of the Rock that bore you, and you forgot the God who gave you birth.

You neglected the Rock who had fathered you; you forgot the God who had given you birth.

You ignored the Rock who gave you birth; you forgot the God who gave birth to you.

You forgot the Rock who fathered you, And forgot the God who gave you birth.

Of the Rock who begot you, you are unmindful, And have forgotten the God who fathered you.

Of the Rock that begat thee thou art unmindful, And hast forgotten God that gave thee birth.

You ignored the Rock who gave you birth; you forgot the God who gave birth to you.

Of the Rock[ that] begat thee thou art unmindful, and hast forgotten God that formed thee.

Of the Rock who became your father, you are unmindful, and have forgotten God who gave you birth.

For you ignore the God who rescues you; you pay no attention to your strong protector. So this is what happens: You cultivate beautiful plants and plant exotic vines.

As for the Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are just. He is a reliable God who is never unjust, he is fair and upright.

Does a young woman forget to put on her jewels? Does a bride forget to put on her bridal attire? But my people have forgotten me for more days than can even be counted.

They rejected the God who delivered them, the one who performed great deeds in Egypt,

Israel has forgotten his Maker and built royal palaces, and Judah has built many fortified cities. But I will send fire on their cities; it will consume their royal citadels.

Be sure you do not forget the LORD your God by not keeping his commandments, ordinances, and statutes that I am giving you today.

be sure you do not feel self-important and forget the LORD your God who brought you from the land of Egypt, the place of slavery,

If we had rejected our God, and spread out our hands in prayer to another god,would not God discover it, for he knows one’s thoughts?Yet because of you we are killed all day long; we are treated like sheep at the slaughtering block.

You counted the houses in Jerusalem, and demolished houses so you could have material to reinforce the wall.You made a reservoir between the two walls for the water of the old pool– but you did not trust in the one who made it; you did not depend on the one who formed it long ago!

Now if you forget the LORD your God at all and follow other gods, worshiping and prostrating yourselves before them, I testify to you today that you will surely be annihilated.

be careful not to forget the LORD who brought you out of Egypt, that place of slavery.

But Jeshurun became fat and kicked, you got fat, thick, and stuffed! Then he deserted the God who made him, and treated the Rock who saved him with contempt.

The wicked are turned back and sent to Sheol; this is the destiny of all the nations that ignore God,

“ A noise is heard on the hilltops. It is the sound of the people of Israel crying and pleading to their gods. Indeed they have followed sinful ways; they have forgotten to be true to the LORD their God.
