with curds and milk from herd and flock and with fattened lambs and goats, with choice rams of Bashan and the finest kernels of wheat. You drank the foaming blood of the grape.

He gave them butter and milk from the herds and flocks. He fed them the fattest lambs and goats. He gave them the best of Bashan’s rams. He fed them the finest wheat. They drank the bubbling red juice of grapes.

Curds from the herd, and milk from the flock, with fat of lambs, rams of Bashan and goats, with the very finest of the wheat— and you drank foaming wine made from the blood of the grape.

He fed them yogurt from the herd and milk from the flock, together with the fat of lambs. He gave them choice rams from Bashan, and goats, together with the choicest wheat. You drank the finest wine, made from the juice of grapes.

Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:

He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied thee.

He maketh peace[ in] thy borders,[ and] filleth thee with the finest of the wheat.

Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

He shall not see the rivers, the floods, the brooks of honey and butter.

He asked water,[ and] she gave[ him] milk; she brought forth butter in a lordly dish.

And he took butter, and milk, and the calf which he had dressed, and set[ it] before them; and he stood by them under the tree, and they did eat.

For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.

Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily[ in] the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed[ in] Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.

Hear this word, ye kine of Bashan, that[ are] in the mountain of Samaria, which oppress the poor, which crush the needy, which say to their masters, Bring, and let us drink.

And honey, and butter, and sheep, and cheese of kine, for David, and for the people that[ were] with him, to eat: for they said, The people[ is] hungry, and weary, and thirsty, in the wilderness.

And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk[ that] they shall give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left in the land.

Many bulls have compassed me: strong[ bulls] of Bashan have beset me round.

For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.

Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.
