耶和華回答他說：「我必親自與你同去，使你平安穩妥。」

你們要剛強勇敢，不要怕他們，因為你們的上帝耶和華與你們同在，祂不會撇下你們，也不會離棄你們。」

我再次吩咐你，要剛強勇敢！不要害怕，也不要灰心，因為你無論走到哪裡，你的上帝耶和華必與你同在。」

在你有生之年，沒有人能夠抵擋你。過去我怎樣與摩西同在，也必照樣與你同在，我必不離開你，也不丟棄你。

對於這些事，我們還可以說什麼呢？上帝若幫助我們，誰能與我們對抗？

雅各啊，以色列啊，創造你、使你成形的耶和華說：「不要害怕，我已經救贖了你；我點名呼召了你，你屬於我。你穿越洪濤，我必與你同在；你渡過江河，必不會被水淹沒；你在火中走過，必不會被燒傷，火焰不會燒到你身上。

耶和華走在他們前面，白天用雲柱為他們指示道路，晚上用火柱照亮他們，這樣他們可以日夜趕路。白天的雲柱和晚上的火柱從不離開他們。

大衛又對兒子所羅門說：「你要堅定勇敢地去做！不要懼怕，也不要驚慌，因為我的上帝耶和華必不撇下你，也不丟棄你，祂必與你同在，直到聖殿的一切工作完畢。

但今天你們要知道，你們的上帝耶和華要走在你們前面，像烈火一樣吞噬他們。祂要制伏他們，使你們迅速趕走他們，毀滅他們，正如祂對你們的應許。

你們的上帝耶和華要親自帶領你們過河，在你們面前消滅那裡的各族，使你們佔領他們的土地。約書亞將做你們的首領，正如耶和華所言。

列國啊，你們必被打垮、擊潰！遠方的人啊，你們要聽！整裝備戰吧，但你們必被擊垮！整裝備戰吧，但你們必被擊垮！你們設計謀吧，但休想得逞！你們定策略吧，但休想成功！因為上帝與我們同在。
