Then David said to his son Solomon,“ Be strong and courageous, and do the work. Don’t be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord God, my God, is with you. He won’t leave you or forsake you until all the work for the service of the Lord’s house is finished.

Don’t be afraid, little flock, because your Father delights to give you the kingdom.

Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand.

You, therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

The Lord is my light and my salvation— whom should I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life— of whom should I be afraid?

do not be afraid of them. Be sure to remember what the Lord your God did to Pharaoh and all Egypt:

“ So I said to you: Don’t be terrified or afraid of them!

Then you will succeed if you carefully follow the statutes and ordinances the Lord commanded Moses for Israel. Be strong and courageous. Don’t be afraid or discouraged.

Now this is what the Lord says— the One who created you, Jacob, and the One who formed you, Israel—“ Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.I will be with you when you pass through the waters, and when you pass through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. You will not be scorched when you walk through the fire, and the flame will not burn you.For I Yahweh your God, the Holy One of Israel, and your Savior, give Egypt as a ransom for you, Cush and Seba in your place.Because you are precious in My sight and honored, and I love you, I will give people in exchange for you and nations instead of your life.Do not fear, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, and gather you from the west.

“ When you go out to war against your enemies and see horses, chariots, and an army larger than yours, do not be afraid of them, for the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, is with you.

Your life should be free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you.

The Lord commissioned Joshua son of Nun,“ Be strong and courageous, for you will bring the Israelites into the land I swore to them, and I will be with you.”

No one will be able to stand against you as long as you live. I will be with you, just as I was with Moses. I will not leave you or forsake you.“ Be strong and courageous, for you will distribute the land I swore to their fathers to give them as an inheritance.Above all, be strong and very courageous to carefully observe the whole instruction My servant Moses commanded you. Do not turn from it to the right or the left, so that you will have success wherever you go.

I— I am the One who comforts you. Who are you that you should fear man who dies, or a son of man who is given up like grass?

Be alert, stand firm in the faith, act like a man, be strong.

Realize now that the Lord has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary. Be strong, and do it.”

For I, Yahweh your God, hold your right hand and say to you: Do not fear, I will help you.Do not fear, you worm Jacob, you men of Israel: I will help you— this is the Lord’s declaration. Your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel.See, I will make you into a sharp threshing board, new, with many teeth. You will thresh mountains and pulverize them and make hills into chaff.You will winnow them and a wind will carry them away, a gale will scatter them. But you will rejoice in the Lord; you will boast in the Holy One of Israel.The poor and the needy seek water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. I, Yahweh, will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.

Even so, be strong, Zerubbabel”— this is the Lord’s declaration.“ Be strong, Joshua son of Jehozadak, high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land”— this is the Lord’s declaration.“ Work! For I am with you”— the declaration of the Lord of Hosts.

He will not leave you, destroy you, or forget the covenant with your fathers that He swore to them by oath, because the Lord your God is a compassionate God.

But the cowards, unbelievers, vile, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars— their share will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

He is to say to them:‘ Listen, Israel: Today you are about to engage in battle with your enemies. Do not be cowardly. Do not be afraid, alarmed, or terrified because of them.For the Lord your God is the One who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory.’

As you have been a curse among the nations, house of Judah and house of Israel, so I will save you, and you will be a blessing. Don’t be afraid; let your hands be strong.”

Only don’t rebel against the Lord, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land, for we will devour them. Their protection has been removed from them, and the Lord is with us. Don’t be afraid of them!”

Moses then summoned Joshua and said to him in the sight of all Israel,“ Be strong and courageous, for you will go with this people into the land the Lord swore to give to their fathers. You will enable them to take possession of it.

“ Be strong and courageous! Don’t be afraid or discouraged before the king of Assyria or before the large army that is with him, for there are more with us than with him.
