爾之上帝耶和華既以之付爾、則爾勿姑縱、必攻擊之、殲滅之、勿與立約。

惟赫人、亞摩哩人、迦南人、比哩洗人、希未人、耶布士人、爾之上帝耶和華以其邑付爾得之、爾必盡滅其眾、凡有血氣者、不全其生、遵爾上帝耶和華命。

爾所往之地、勿與其民立約、恐陷爾於坎阱。必摧其壇、毀其像、斫其偶、斷不容爾以他上帝匹我、此乃我耶和華之名也、故他上帝爾勿崇拜。勿與居民立約、恐彼狥欲、從其上帝而獻祭、遂招爾曹共食祭物。恐爾取其女為媳、其女狥欲從其上帝、以惑爾子亦狥欲以從。

毋與其人立約、毋事其上帝。勿容之居斯土、恐誘爾獲罪於我、若奉其上帝、則必陷爾於坎阱。

必驅居民、凡勒像於碑、及鎔鑄之偶像、汝必壞之、毀厥崇邱、必取其地而居之、蓋我以斯土賜汝為業。汝必掣籤分地、按爾戶口、人眾則給地亦多、人寡則給地亦減、各隨所掣之籤、循其世系、得此恆業。斯土之眾、爾不驅逐、則其遺民、必為爾目中之刺、肘下之棘、困苦爾於此。我素欲降罰於彼、今之待爾亦將如是。

爾之上帝耶和華既屢敗爾敵、大滅其能、將王及民、付於爾手、則爾當滅其名於天下、無人能禦爾、待爾殲之、雕刻之像、像上帝者、乃爾上帝耶和華所惡、必燬以火、如其上飾以金銀、爾毋貪毋取、恐陷爾於罪。

爾毋畏、當憶疇昔、爾上帝耶和華降罰於法老、與埃及。
