The Lord will deliver them to you, and you must do to them all that I have commanded you.

爾所往之地、慎毋與其居民立約、恐其居於爾中、陷爾於罪網、爾必毀其祭壇、摧其柱像、斫其亞舍拉、亞舍拉或作木偶毋崇拜他神、因我耶和華稱為忌邪者、乃忌邪之天主、爾若與其地之居民立約、恐彼妄從其神、祭祀其神、招爾食其祭物、又恐爾為爾子娶其女、其女妄從其神、誘爾子亦妄從其神、

毋與斯民及其神立約、毋容其居爾境內、恐誘爾獲罪於我、爾若事其神、則必陷於罪網、

必驅逐其地之居民、毀其雕鑿鎔鑄之偶像、除其邱壇、爾將取其地而居之、因我以斯地賜爾為業、分地當以鬮而分、循爾之各族、人眾者給地亦多、人寡者給地亦少、各隨鬮所定、必循宗族分地為業、若爾不驅逐斯地之居民、爾所存留者、必為爾目中之荊、脇下之刺、必擾害爾於爾所居之地、我素欲降罰於彼、若爾不驅逐之、我將待爾亦若是、

主爾之天主必付之於爾、使之大恐惶、直至盡滅、亦以其王付於爾手、爾必滅其名於天下、無人能禦爾、爾將滅之殆盡、其神之偶像、必焚之以火、其上之金銀、勿貪勿取、恐爾陷於網羅、因為主爾之天主所惡者、

爾毋懼之、當追憶主爾之天主所行於法老及伊及人之事、
