saying,“ I am now 120 years old; I can no longer act as your leader. The LORD has told me,‘ You will not cross the Jordan.’

對他們說：『我今日一百二十歲了，再也不能照常出入了；永恆主也曾對我說：「你必不得過這約但河。」

我今百有二十歲矣、不復能出入於爾中、耶和華亦曾諭我曰、爾不得渡此約但、

曰、我今日一百有二十歲矣、不能復治斯民、耶和華嘗有諭言、不許我濟約但。

我今日一百有二十歲矣、不能復出入、主亦曾諭我曰、爾必不得渡此約但、

“ I am now a hundred and twenty years old and I am no longer able to lead you. The Lord has said to me,‘ You shall not cross the Jordan.’

He said,“ I am now 120 years old. I’m not able to lead you anymore. The Lord has said to me,‘ You will not go across the Jordan River.’

And he said to them,“ I am 120 years old today. I am no longer able to go out and come in. The Lord has said to me,‘ You shall not go over this Jordan.’

he said,“ I am now 120 years old, and I am no longer able to lead you. The Lord has told me,‘ You will not cross the Jordan River.’

And he said to them,“ I am 120 years old today; I am no longer able to go out and come in, and the Lord has told me,‘ You shall not cross this Jordan.’

And he said to them:“ I am one hundred and twenty years old today. I can no longer go out and come in. Also the Lord has said to me,‘ You shall not cross over this Jordan.’

And he said unto them, I am a hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: and Jehovah hath said unto me, Thou shalt not go over this Jordan.

saying,“ I am now 120 years old; I can no longer act as your leader. The Lord has told me,‘ You will not cross this Jordan.’

And he said unto them, I[ am] an hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: also the LORD hath said unto me, Thou shalt not go over this Jordan.

He said to them,“ Today I am a hundred and twenty years old. I am no longer able to get about, and the LORD has said to me,‘ You will not cross the Jordan.’

He said to them,“ I am one hundred twenty years old today. I can no more go out and come in. Yahweh has said to me,‘ You shall not go over this Jordan.’

Moses was one hundred twenty years old when he died; his eyes were not weak, and his vitality had not left him.

who will go out before them and come back in before them, and who will bring them out and bring them in, so that the LORD’s community won’t be like sheep without a shepherd.”

“ LORD my God, you have now made your servant king in my father David’s place. Yet I am just a youth with no experience in leadership.

“ But the LORD was angry with me because of you and would not listen to me. The LORD said to me,‘ That’s enough! Do not speak to me again about this matter.Go to the top of Pisgah and look to the west, north, south, and east, and see it with your own eyes, for you will not cross the Jordan.

Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three when they spoke to Pharaoh.

After you have seen it, you will also be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother was.When the community quarreled in the Wilderness of Zin, both of you rebelled against my command to demonstrate my holiness in their sight at the waters.” Those were the Waters of Meribah-kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin.

But the LORD said to Moses and Aaron,“ Because you did not trust me to demonstrate my holiness in the sight of the Israelites, you will not bring this assembly into the land I have given them.”

Our lives last seventy years or, if we are strong, eighty years. Even the best of them are struggle and sorrow; indeed, they pass quickly and we fly away.

“ And now I know that none of you, among whom I went about preaching the kingdom, will ever see me again.

“ As you see, the LORD has kept me alive these forty-five years as he promised, since the LORD spoke this word to Moses while Israel was journeying in the wilderness. Here I am today, eighty-five years old.I am still as strong today as I was the day Moses sent me out. My strength for battle and for daily tasks is now as it was then.

But Abishai son of Zeruiah came to his aid, struck the Philistine, and killed him. Then David’s men swore to him,“ You must never again go out with us to battle. You must not extinguish the lamp of Israel.”

On that same day the LORD spoke to Moses,“ Go up Mount Nebo in the Abarim range in the land of Moab, across from Jericho, and view the land of Canaan I am giving the Israelites as a possession.Then you will die on the mountain that you go up, and you will be gathered to your people, just as your brother Aaron died on Mount Hor and was gathered to his people.For both of you broke faith with me among the Israelites at the Waters of Meribath-kadesh in the Wilderness of Zin by failing to treat me as holy in their presence.Although from a distance you will view the land that I am giving the Israelites, you will not go there.”

“ When he was forty years old, he decided to visit his own people, the Israelites.

“ The LORD was angry with me also because of you and said,‘ You will not enter there either.

I think it is right, as long as I am in this bodily tent, to wake you up with a reminder,since I know that I will soon lay aside my tent, as our Lord Jesus Christ has indeed made clear to me.

“ The LORD was angry with me on your account. He swore that I would not cross the Jordan and enter the good land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance.I won’t be crossing the Jordan because I am going to die in this land. But you are about to cross over and take possession of this good land.
