and when you and your children return to the Lord your God and obey him with all your heart and with all your soul according to everything I command you today,

You and your children will return to the Lord your God. You will obey him with all your heart and with all your soul. That will be according to everything I’m commanding you today.

If at that time you and your children return to the Lord your God, and if you obey with all your heart and all your soul all the commands I have given you today,

爾諭僕摩西云、若民犯罪、必散於列邦、如其翻然悔改、遵我誡命、雖被逐至天涯、我必由彼安集之、使復歸所簡之地、為籲我名之所、請爾毋忘斯言焉、

耶和華曰、爾當一心歸誠乎我、禁食、號哭、悲哀、當裂肺肝、毋裂衣服、歸誠爾之上帝耶和華、我以仁慈為念、矜憫為懷、恆忍靡已、施恩格外、所言降災之事、必能中止、

當省察我行、歸誠耶和華兮。

故勿聽其言、蓋爾上帝試爾、欲知爾一心一意、愛爾上帝耶和華否。

爾當盡心盡意盡力、愛爾上帝耶和華。

耶路撒冷人乎、爾懷妄念、伊於何底、當滌爾私心、去爾惡念、可得拯救。

雖令人懷憂、必加矜恤、仁澤靡涯兮、

彼必曰、耶和華既戕我、必醫痊我、既擊我、必彌縫我、莫若歸之、二三日之後、彼將甦我、使我復興、與之偕生。

亦願誠愛吾主耶穌基督者、得恩寵焉、

先知曰、耶和華離民不遠、將加眷顧、爾當乘時祈求。作惡者流、當改其行、寢其謀、歸誠耶和華我之上帝、蓋彼矜恤為懷、必赦宥之。

民既誠心樂輸、獻於耶和華、則盡歡忭。大闢王亦欣喜不勝、

以色列族因蹈愆尤、遂致殞沒、當歸誠爾之上帝耶和華、籲告之曰、請宥我愆、加以恩寵、口為頌祝、以代牲牷。我不求救於亞述、不恃驍騎、不稱所作之像為我上帝、無父之子、惟爾矜憫、

後必歸誠、求其上帝耶和華、及其王大闢、迨至末日、寅畏耶和華、頌其仁慈。

在彼人以木石作上帝像、不見不聞、臭味不知、惟汝事之。然在遠方、爾如一心一意、求爾上帝耶和華、亦可得之、至於季世、爾遇艱辛、我所言之災、加乎爾身、斯時也、爾若歸爾上帝耶和華、而聽其命、則爾之上帝耶和華、甚為仁慈、必不棄爾、翦滅爾、與爾祖所立之盟約、亦不忘之。

若我任罪、上帝公義、言出惟行、將赦我罪、滌我愆尤、

我盡心遵爾法度、必不蒙羞兮。○

爰予行善為爾扶翼、恆眷予兮、

其人歸主、帕可去矣、

倘爾一心求予、則必可得。

我知上帝鑒察人心、真實無妄者、為爾所喜、我誠心樂輸、爾民亦從心所願而樂輸、我見之懽然欣喜。

我必施恩、賦我神於大闢家、耶路撒冷民使籲於上、昔爾剌我、後必仰我、為我椎心、若喪獨子、舉哀甚慘、若喪初生之子、
