然而你們現在要禁食，哭泣，哀號，一心歸向我。這是耶和華說的。你們要撕裂心腸，不要撕裂衣服。歸向耶和華－你們的神，因為他有恩惠，有憐憫，不輕易發怒，有豐盛的慈愛，並且會改變心意，不降那災難。

讓我們省察，檢討自己的行為，歸向耶和華吧！

你不可聽那先知或是那做夢之人的話，因為這是耶和華－你們的神考驗你們，要知道你們是否盡心盡性愛耶和華－你們的神。

你要盡心、盡性、盡力愛耶和華－你的神。

耶路撒冷啊，你當洗去心中的惡，使你可以得救。惡念在你裏面要存到幾時呢？

他雖使人憂愁，還要照他豐盛的慈愛施憐憫；

來，我們歸向耶和華吧！他撕裂我們，也必醫治；打傷我們，也必包紮。過兩天他必使我們甦醒，第三天他必使我們興起，我們就在他面前得以存活。

願所有恆心愛我們主耶穌基督的人都蒙恩惠。

當趁耶和華可尋找的時候尋找他，在他接近的時候求告他。惡人當離棄自己的道路，不義的人應除掉自己的意念。歸向耶和華，耶和華就必憐憫他；當歸向我們的神，因為他必廣行赦免。

因這些人全心樂意獻給耶和華，百姓就歡喜，大衛王也大大歡喜。

以色列啊，你要歸向耶和華－你的神，你因自己的罪孽跌倒了。當歸向耶和華，用言語向他說：「求你除盡罪孽，悅納善行，我們就用嘴唇的祭代替牛犢獻上。亞述不能救我們，我們不再騎馬，也不再對我們手所造的偶像說：『你是我們的神』；孤兒在你那裏得蒙憐憫。」

後來以色列人必歸回，尋求耶和華－他們的神和他們的王大衛。在末後的日子，他們必敬畏耶和華，領受他的恩惠。

在那裏，你們必事奉人手所造的神明，它們是木頭，是石頭，不能看，不能聽，不能吃，不能聞。你們在那裏必尋求耶和華－你的神。你若盡心盡性尋求他，就必尋見。日後你在患難中，當這一切的事臨到你，你必歸回耶和華－你的神，聽從他的話。耶和華－你的神是有憐憫的神，他不撇下你，不滅絕你，也不忘記他起誓與你列祖所立的約。

我們若認自己的罪，神是信實的，是公義的，必要赦免我們的罪，洗淨我們一切的不義。

願我的心在你的律例上完全，使我不致蒙羞。

雖有這一切的事，她奸詐的妹妹猶大還不一心歸向我，不過是假意歸我。這是耶和華說的。」

你因我純正就扶持我，使我永遠站立在你面前。

但他們的心何時歸向主，面紗就何時除去。

你們尋求我，若專心尋求我，就必尋見。

我的神啊，我知道你察驗人心，喜悅正直；我以正直的心樂意獻上這一切。現在我歡喜見你的百姓在此樂意奉獻給你。

「我要將那施恩與懇求的靈，澆灌大衛家和耶路撒冷的居民。他們必仰望我，就是他們所扎的那位。他們必為他悲傷，如喪獨子，又為他哀哭，如喪長子。
