This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live

I’m calling for the heavens and the earth to be witnesses against you this very day. I’m offering you the choice of life or death. You can choose either blessings or curses. But I want you to choose life. Then you and your children will live.

I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live,

我所言之純嘏咒詛、既降臨於爾、爾之上帝耶和華驅逐爾眾、散於四方、而爾追憶是事、與子孫一心一意、歸爾上帝耶和華、遵從其言、

予惟真道是擇、仰爾典章兮、

如事耶和華爾視為不善、今日簡所欲事者、或爾祖在大河東所事之上帝、或爾居斯土亞摩哩人之上帝、惟我與全家必事耶和華。民對曰、我斷不可違耶和華、事他上帝、蓋我上帝耶和華、導我祖與我出埃及、脫於賤役、行諸異跡、俾我目擊、祐我於所行之途、拯我於所過之國。耶和華驅斯民於我前、亦驅斯土之亞摩哩人、故必事我上帝耶和華。約書亞曰、爾不能事耶和華者、以耶和華乃聖、斷不容以他上帝匹之、故不赦爾罪愆。如爾違耶和華、事他上帝、則祐爾之後、必反害爾、至於滅亡。民對曰、我必事耶和華。約書亞曰、爾簡耶和華而事之、爾自為證曰、我願自證。

然所需者、一而已、馬利亞既擇善業、則不可奪之矣、

我今日指天地以作證、爾於所得約但之西境、不能延命、乃必滅甚速、至於盡亡。

於上帝及主、耶穌基督暨被選之天使前、我諭爾務守此誡、處事勿固執偏視、

耶和華敷陳言詞、凡爾岡巒、咸聽其語、耶和華將斥責其民以色列族、舉凡山巖岡嶺、地之四維、尚其聽之哉。

我必使之道同志合、共寅畏予、以徼福禧、奚及子孫、

爾支派之長老、爰及族長、使其咸集、以言相告、俾爾聽聞、亦指天地為證。

我以爾道為畢生之業、俾我心欣喜兮、

蓋所許者歸爾曹、貽於子孫、施及遠人、即主我之上帝、所召者也、

其畧曰、天其俯聞、我將有言、地其傾聽、我以口誦、

我服膺爾道、爾以手援予兮、

耶和華又曰、天亦以此為奇、愕然駭異。我民作二大惡、我乃活水之源、彼反棄予、器易敗漏、不得盛水、彼反造作。

天其聞之、地其聽之、耶和華曰、我養民如保赤子、而反忤逆。

耶和華三呼斯土之人、告之曰、爾眾宜聽我言、約雅斤畢生、不獲亨通、當錄其名於册、雖有子孫、不得繼大闢之位、為王於猶大。

爾素不志於學、不畏耶和華、

凡受閹之人、守予安息日、從予所悅懌、不爽盟約、我之宅第、必賜彼居處、其名不朽、較子女眾多者為多福。
