This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live

I’m calling for the heavens and the earth to be witnesses against you this very day. I’m offering you the choice of life or death. You can choose either blessings or curses. But I want you to choose life. Then you and your children will live.

I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live,

得罪我的，害了自己的生命，凡恨惡我的，喜愛死亡。」

「當這一切的事，就是我擺在你面前的祝福和詛咒臨到你的時候，你在耶和華－你神趕逐你去的萬國中，心裏回想這些事，

我選擇了忠信的道路，將你的典章擺在我面前。

若你們認為事奉耶和華不好，今日就可以選擇所要事奉的：是你們列祖在大河那邊所事奉的神明，或是你們所住這地亞摩利人的神明呢？至於我和我家，我們必定事奉耶和華。」百姓回答說：「我們絕不離棄耶和華去事奉別神。因為耶和華－我們的神曾領我們和我們的祖宗從埃及地為奴之家出來，在我們眼前行了那些大神蹟，並在我們所行的一切路上，和所經過的各民族中保護了我們。耶和華又把各民族和住此地的亞摩利人都從我們面前趕出去。所以，我們也必事奉耶和華，因為他是我們的神。」約書亞對百姓說：「你們不能事奉耶和華，因為他是神聖的神，是忌邪的神，必不赦免你們的過犯罪惡。你們若離棄耶和華去事奉外邦的神明，耶和華在降福之後，必轉而降禍給你們，把你們滅絕。」百姓對約書亞說：「不，我們要事奉耶和華。」約書亞對百姓說：「你們選擇耶和華，要事奉他，你們自己作證吧！」他們說：「我們願意作證。」

但是不可少的只有一件。馬利亞已經選擇了那上好的福分，是沒有人能從她奪去的。」

我今日呼天喚地向你們作見證，你們在過約旦河得為業的地上必迅速滅亡！你們在那地的日子必不長久，必全然滅絕。

我在神、基督耶穌和蒙揀選的天使面前囑咐你要遵守這些話，不可存成見，做事也不可偏心。

當聽耶和華說的話：起來，向山嶺爭辯，使岡陵聽見你的聲音。山嶺啊，要聽耶和華的指控！大地永久的根基啊，要聽！因耶和華控告他的百姓，與以色列爭辯。

我要使他們彼此同心同道，好叫他們永遠敬畏我，使他們和他們後世的子孫得享福樂。

你們要召集你們支派的眾長老和官長到我這裏來，我好把這些話說給他們聽，並且呼喚天地見證他們的不是。

我以你的法度為永遠的產業，因這是我心中所喜愛的。

因為這應許是給你們和你們的兒女，並一切在遠方的人，就是給所有主－我們的神所召來的人。」

「諸天哪，要側耳聽我說話；願地聆聽我口中的言語。

求你用你的手幫助我，因我選擇你的訓詞。

諸天哪，要因此震驚，顫慄，極其淒涼！這是耶和華說的。因為我的百姓做了兩件惡事：離棄我這活水的泉源；又為自己鑿出水池，卻是破裂不能儲水的池子。」

天哪，要聽！地啊，側耳而聽！因為耶和華說：「我養育兒女，將他們養大，他們竟悖逆我。

地啊，地啊，地啊，當聽耶和華的話！耶和華如此說：「要把這人登記為無子，是平生不得亨通的人；因為他後裔中再無一人得亨通，能坐在大衛的寶座上治理猶大。」

因為他們恨惡知識，選擇不敬畏耶和華，

因為耶和華如此說：「那些謹守我的安息日，選擇我旨意，持守我約的太監，
