This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live

I’m calling for the heavens and the earth to be witnesses against you this very day. I’m offering you the choice of life or death. You can choose either blessings or curses. But I want you to choose life. Then you and your children will live.

我擇忠信之道、陳爾律例於前兮、

爾若以事耶和華為不善、今日可擇所欲事者、或爾祖在河東所事之神、或爾所居斯土、亞摩利人之神、至我及我家、必事耶和華、民對曰、我決不離棄耶和華、而事他神、蓋我上帝耶和華導我祖及我出埃及、脫於奴隸之室、行大異蹟、使我目擊、護我於所行之途、所過之國、耶和華又於我前驅逐諸民、即居斯土之亞摩利人、故我亦必事耶和華、以其為我上帝也、約書亞曰、爾不能事耶和華、因彼乃維聖之上帝、忌邪之上帝、不赦爾之罪愆、爾若離棄耶和華、而事異族之神、則彼福爾之後、轉而禍爾、至於滅亡、民曰、不然、我必奉事耶和華、約書亞曰、爾擇耶和華而事之、爾自為證、曰、我自為證、

然所需者一而已、馬利亞已擇善業、而莫之奪也、

我今日籲天地為證、爾於濟約但所承之地、必速絕滅、不得延年、淪胥以亡、

我於上帝與基督耶穌、及蒙選之天使前、諭爾守此、勿執成見、勿行偏僻、

爾曹其聽耶和華言、曰起向諸山爭辯、俾諸陵聽爾之聲、諸山及永固之地基歟、其聽耶和華之爭辯、蓋耶和華有爭論於其民、必與以色列爭辯、

我必賦以一心一道、致恆寅畏我、俾彼及厥裔、得獲福祉、

當使爾支派之長老有司咸集、我將以此言告之、呼籲天地、於彼為證、

我以爾法度為永業、蓋為我心所悅兮、

因所許者、歸爾、及爾子孫、並諸遠人、即凡主我上帝將召者、

天其側耳、我將有言、地其聽我口中之語、

願爾著手助我、因我擇爾訓詞兮、

耶和華曰、諸天歟、爾其緣此而駭愕、驚惶蕭索、我民作惡有二、我為活水之源、彼乃棄我、而自掘井、厥井破裂、不能蓄水、

天其聽之、地其側耳、蓋耶和華言曰、我撫養諸子、而彼背逆我、

斯土、斯土、斯土、其聽耶和華言、耶和華曰、宜錄斯人無嗣、畢生不獲亨通、其裔無有利達、坐大衛之位、而治猶大也、

因其憎惡知識、不喜寅畏耶和華、

蓋耶和華曰、凡為閹者、守我安息、擇我所悅、守我盟約、
