This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live

I’m calling for the heavens and the earth to be witnesses against you this very day. I’m offering you the choice of life or death. You can choose either blessings or curses. But I want you to choose life. Then you and your children will live.

I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live,

「看哪，我今日將祝福與咒詛的話都陳明在你們面前。

「看哪，我今日將生與福，死與禍，陳明在你面前。

得罪我的，卻害了自己的性命；恨惡我的，都喜愛死亡。

「我所陳明在你面前的這一切咒詛都臨到你身上；你在耶和華－你神追趕你到的萬國中必心裏追念祝福的話；

我揀選了忠信的道，將你的典章擺在我面前。

若是你們以事奉耶和華為不好，今日就可以選擇所要事奉的：是你們列祖在大河那邊所事奉的神呢？是你們所住這地的亞摩利人的神呢？至於我和我家，我們必定事奉耶和華。」百姓回答說：「我們斷不敢離棄耶和華去事奉別神；因耶和華－我們的神曾將我們和我們列祖從埃及地的為奴之家領出來，在我們眼前行了那些大神蹟，在我們所行的道上，所經過的諸國，都保護了我們。耶和華又把住此地的亞摩利人都從我們面前趕出去。所以，我們必事奉耶和華，因為他是我們的神。」約書亞對百姓說：「你們不能事奉耶和華；因為他是聖潔的神，是忌邪的神，必不赦免你們的過犯罪惡。你們若離棄耶和華去事奉外邦神，耶和華在降福之後，必轉而降禍與你們，把你們滅絕。」百姓回答約書亞說：「不然，我們定要事奉耶和華。」約書亞對百姓說：「你們選定耶和華，要事奉他，你們自己作見證吧！」他們說：「我們願意作見證。」

但是不可少的只有一件；馬利亞已經選擇那上好的福分，是不能奪去的。」

我今日呼天喚地向你們作見證，你們必在過約旦河得為業的地上速速滅盡！你們不能在那地上長久，必盡行除滅。

我在神和基督耶穌並蒙揀選的天使面前囑咐你：要遵守這些話，不可存成見，行事也不可有偏心。

以色列人哪，當聽耶和華的話！要起來向山嶺爭辯，使岡陵聽你的話。山嶺和地永久的根基啊，要聽耶和華爭辯的話！因為耶和華要與他的百姓爭辯，與以色列爭論。

我要使他們彼此同心同道，好叫他們永遠敬畏我，使他們和他們後世的子孫得福樂，

你們要將你們支派的眾長老和官長都招聚了來，我好將這些話說與他們聽，並呼天喚地見證他們的不是。

我以你的法度為永遠的產業，因這是我心中所喜愛的。

因為這應許是給你們和你們的兒女，並一切在遠方的人，就是主－我們神所召來的。」

諸天哪，側耳，我要說話；願地也聽我口中的言語。

願你用手幫助我，因我揀選了你的訓詞。

諸天哪，要因此驚奇，極其恐慌，甚為淒涼！這是耶和華說的。因為我的百姓做了兩件惡事，就是離棄我這活水的泉源，為自己鑿出池子，是破裂不能存水的池子。

天哪，要聽！地啊，側耳而聽！因為耶和華說：我養育兒女，將他們養大，他們竟悖逆我。

地啊，地啊，地啊，當聽耶和華的話！耶和華如此說：要寫明這人算為無子，是平生不得亨通的；因為他後裔中再無一人得亨通，能坐在大衛的寶座上治理猶大。

因為，你們恨惡知識，不喜愛敬畏耶和華，

因為耶和華如此說：那些謹守我的安息日，揀選我所喜悅的事，持守我約的太監，
