This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live

I’m calling for the heavens and the earth to be witnesses against you this very day. I’m offering you the choice of life or death. You can choose either blessings or curses. But I want you to choose life. Then you and your children will live.

我拣选了忠信的道，将你的典章摆在我面前。

若是你们以侍奉耶和华为不好，今日就可以选择所要侍奉的：是你们列祖在大河那边所侍奉的神呢？是你们所住这地的亚摩利人的神呢？至于我和我家，我们必定侍奉耶和华。”百姓回答说：“我们断不敢离弃耶和华去侍奉别神；因耶和华我们的神曾将我们和我们列祖从埃及地的为奴之家领出来，在我们眼前行了那些大神迹，在我们所行的道上，所经过的诸国，都保护了我们。耶和华又把住此地的亚摩利人都从我们面前赶出去。所以，我们必侍奉耶和华，因为他是我们的神。”约书亚对百姓说：“你们不能侍奉耶和华；因为他是圣洁的神，是忌邪的神，必不赦免你们的过犯罪恶。你们若离弃耶和华去侍奉外邦神，耶和华在降福之后，必转而降祸与你们，把你们灭绝。”百姓回答约书亚说：“不然，我们定要侍奉耶和华。”约书亚对百姓说：“你们选定耶和华，要侍奉他，你们自己作见证吧！”他们说：“我们愿意作见证。”

但是不可少的只有一件；马利亚已经选择那上好的福分，是不能夺去的。”

我今日呼天唤地向你们作见证，你们必在过约旦河得为业的地上速速灭尽！你们不能在那地上长久，必尽行除灭。

我在神和基督耶稣并蒙拣选的天使面前嘱咐你：要遵守这些话，不可存成见，行事也不可有偏心。

以色列人哪，当听耶和华的话！要起来向山岭争辩，使冈陵听你的话。山岭和地永久的根基啊，要听耶和华争辩的话！因为耶和华要与他的百姓争辩，与以色列争论。

我要使他们彼此同心同道，好叫他们永远敬畏我，使他们和他们后世的子孙得福乐，

你们要将你们支派的众长老和官长都招聚了来，我好将这些话说与他们听，并呼天唤地见证他们的不是。

我以你的法度为永远的产业，因这是我心中所喜爱的。

因为这应许是给你们和你们的儿女，并一切在远方的人，就是主我们神所召来的。”

“诸天哪，侧耳，我要说话；愿地也听我口中的言语。

愿你用手帮助我，因我拣选了你的训词。

诸天哪，要因此惊奇，极其恐慌，甚为凄凉！这是耶和华说的。因为我的百姓做了两件恶事，就是离弃我这活水的泉源，为自己凿出池子，是破裂不能存水的池子。”

天哪，要听！地啊，侧耳而听！因为耶和华说：“我养育儿女，将他们养大，他们竟悖逆我。

地啊，地啊，地啊，当听耶和华的话！耶和华如此说：“要写明这人算为无子，是平生不得亨通的；因为他后裔中再无一人得亨通，能坐在大卫的宝座上治理犹大。”

因为，你们恨恶知识，不喜爱敬畏耶和华，

因为耶和华如此说：“那些谨守我的安息日，拣选我所喜悦的事，持守我约的太监，
