这诫命也不在海的彼岸，以致你们说，‘谁替我们过海取来，讲给我们听，好让我们遵行呢？’

也不是在海外，以致你说：‘谁替我们过海去，为我们取回来，使我们听见，就可以遵行呢？’

也不是在海外，使你說：『誰替我們過海取了來，使我們聽見可以遵行呢？』

也不是在海外、以致你不得不說：「誰替我們過海、去給我們取過來，讓我們聽而遵行呢？」

不在海外、致爾自謂、誰濟海攜之以至、使我聞而行之、

不在海外、勿意謂誰能濟海、攜之以至、俾我聽從。

不在海外、致爾自謂誰為我過海取之至、俾我得聞而行之、

Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask,“ Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?”

And it isn’t beyond the ocean. So you don’t have to ask,“ Who will go across the ocean to get it? Who will announce it to us so we can obey it?”

Neither is it beyond the sea, that you should say,‘ Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’

It is not kept beyond the sea, so far away that you must ask,‘ Who will cross the sea to bring it to us so we can hear it and obey?’

And it is not across the sea so that you have to ask,‘ Who will cross the sea, get it for us, and proclaim it to us so that we may follow it?’

Nor is it beyond the sea, that you could say,‘ Who will cross the sea for us and get it for us and proclaim it to us, so that we may follow it?’

Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say,‘ Who will go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?’

Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, and make us to hear it, that we may do it?

And it is not across the sea so that you have to ask,‘ Who will cross the sea, get it for us, and proclaim it to us so that we may follow it?’

And it is not across the sea, as though one must say,“ Who will cross over to the other side of the sea and get it for us and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?”

不要為那會腐敗的食物做工，而要為那存留到永生的食物做工。這食物就是人子要給你們的，因為人子是父神所印證的。」

所以我就立即派人到你那裡。你來了真好！現在我們都來到這裡，在神的面前，聆聽主所吩咐你的一切話。」

他們說：「百夫長哥尼流是個義人，敬畏神，也受到了猶太全族的讚許。他受一位聖天使的指示：要請你到他家去，聽你的話語。」

夜裡，保羅看見了一個異象：一個馬其頓人站著懇求他，說：「請你過來，到馬其頓來幫助我們。」

因為智慧比紅寶石更美好，人所喜悅的一切都無法與她相比。

既然如此，人沒有相信他，怎麼能求告他呢？沒有聽說過他，怎麼能相信他呢？沒有人傳講，怎麼能聽到呢？如果沒有奉差派，又怎麼能去傳講呢？正如經上所記：「傳講美好福音的人，他們的腳蹤多麼美麗！」

在審判的時候，南方的女王將要與這世代一起復活，並且要定這世代的罪，因為她從極遠的地方來，要聽所羅門智慧的話語。看，比所羅門更大的就在這裡！

腓利就起身去了。看哪，有一個埃塞俄比亞人，是個太監，是埃塞俄比亞坎蒂絲女王的大臣，統管她整個國庫。他到耶路撒冷去敬拜後，在回去的時候，坐在他的馬車裡誦讀先知以賽亞的書。聖靈對腓利說：「你上前去，貼近那馬車走。」腓利跑過去，聽見他正在誦讀先知以賽亞的書，就問：「難道你真的明白你所讀的嗎？」太監回答說：「如果沒有人指教我，我怎麼能明白呢？」他就請腓利上來和他同坐。太監誦讀的那段經文是這樣的：「他像羊被牽去宰殺，又像羊羔在剪毛的人面前默默無聲，他也這樣不開口。他在屈辱中，公義被奪走了，誰能述說他的世代呢？因為他的生命從地上被奪走了。」太監對腓利說：「請問，先知說的這話是關於誰呢？是關於自己，還是關於別人呢？」腓利就開口，從這一段經文開始，向他傳講耶穌的福音。當他們沿路前行的時候，來到一個有水的地方。太監說：「看哪，有水！有什麼能阻止我受洗呢？」

我兒啊，如果你接受我的言語，把我的誡命珍藏在你裡面，使你的耳朵留心聽智慧，使你的心專注聰慧；如果你向悟性呼求，向聰慧揚聲，尋求她如同尋求銀子，搜尋她如同搜尋寶藏；那麼，你就會領悟什麼是敬畏耶和華，並且尋得對神的認識；

藉著慈愛和信實，罪孽被贖清；因敬畏耶和華，人就遠離惡事。

那找到智慧、獲得聰慧的人，是蒙福的！因為智慧的盈利好過銀子，她的收成勝過金子；她比紅寶石更寶貴，你喜悅的一切都無法與她相比；她的右手有長壽，左手有財富和尊榮；她的道路是恩慈的道路，她的路徑全是平安；對於持守她的，她就是生命樹；持定她的人被稱為有福。
