所以，你們當悔改歸正，使你們的罪得以塗去，

我先在大馬士革，後在耶路撒冷和猶太全地，以及外邦，勸勉他們應當悔改歸向神，行事與悔改的心相稱。

你們在那裏必尋求耶和華－你的神。你若盡心盡性尋求他，就必尋見。

你必回轉，聽從耶和華的話，遵行他的一切誡命，就是我今日所吩咐你的。

惡人轉離他的惡，行公平公義的事，他必因此而存活。

你們為何花錢買那不是食物的東西，用勞碌得來的買那無法使人飽足的呢？你們要留意聽從我的話，就能吃那美物，得享肥甘，心中喜樂。當側耳而聽，來到我這裏；要聽，就必存活。我要與你們立永約，就是應許給大衛那可靠的慈愛。

我對惡人說：『你必死亡！』他若轉離他的罪惡，行公平公義的事；

你要對他們說，主耶和華說：我指着我的永生起誓，我斷不喜悅惡人死亡，惟喜悅惡人轉離他所行的道而存活。以色列家啊，你們回轉，回轉離開惡道吧！何必死亡呢？

讓我們省察，檢討自己的行為，歸向耶和華吧！讓我們獻上我們的心，向天上的神舉手！

但你們若歸向我，謹守遵行我的誡命，你們被趕散的人雖在天涯，我也必從那裏將他們召集回來，帶到我所選擇立為我名居所的地方。』

「惡人若回轉離開所做的一切罪惡，謹守我的一切律例，行公平公義的事，他必要存活，不致死亡。
