所以你們應當悔改歸正，使你們的罪得著塗抹。

先向大馬士革、耶路撒冷、猶太全地的人宣講，後向外族人宣講，叫他們悔改，歸向神，行事與悔改的心相稱。

但你們在那裡必尋求耶和華你的神；如果你一心一意尋找他，就必尋見。

你卻要再聽從耶和華的話，遵行他的一切誡命，就是我今日吩咐你的。

惡人若離開他的惡，去行公平和正直的事，他就必因此存活。

你們為甚麼用銀子去買那不是食物的呢？為甚麼用你們勞碌得來的去買那不能使人飽足的呢？你們要留心聽我的話，就可以吃美物，使你們的心靈享受肥甘。你們要側耳而聽，要到我這裡來；你們要聽，就可以存活；我必與你們立永遠的約，就是應許賜給大衛的那確實的慈愛。

我雖然對惡人說：‘你必定死亡’，但是他若離開他的罪，行公平和正直的事，

你要對他們說：‘主耶和華這樣宣告：我指著我的永生起誓，我絕不喜悅惡人死亡，卻喜悅惡人離開他所行的，得以存活。以色列家啊，回轉吧！離開你們所行的，何必死亡呢？’

我們要檢討和省察自己的行為，然後歸向耶和華。我們要向天上的神，誠心舉手禱告：

但如果你們回心轉意歸向我，謹守遵行我的誡命，即使在你們被趕逐的天邊，我也必從那裡把他們招聚回來，帶他們到我選擇給我的名居住的地方那裡去。’

“惡人若回轉，離開他所犯的一切罪，謹守我的一切律例，行正直和公義的事，就必存活，不致滅亡。
