耶和华也因你们的缘故向我发怒，说：‘你也不得进入那地。

对他们说：“我已经一百二十岁了，现在不能照常出入。耶和华曾对我说：‘你不得过这约旦河。’

他们在米利巴水又惹耶和华发怒，甚至摩西也因他们的缘故受亏损，是因他们触怒了他的灵，摩西就用嘴说了急躁的话。

耶和华对他说：“这就是我向亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓应许之地，说：‘我必将这地赐给你的后裔。’现在我使你亲眼看见了，你却不得过到那里去。”

大卫对所罗门说：“我儿啊，我心里本想为耶和华—我上帝的名建造殿宇，可是耶和华的话临到我说：‘你流了许多的血，打了多次大仗；你不可为我的名建造殿宇，因为你在我面前使许多血流在地上。看哪，你要生一个儿子，他必成为安宁的人；我必使他得享安宁，不被四围仇敌扰乱。他的名字要叫所罗门，在他的日子，我必使以色列平安康泰。

因为你们在以色列人中得罪了我，在寻的旷野，加低斯的米利巴水那里，在以色列人中没有尊我为圣。我所赐给以色列人的地，你只可从对面观看，却不得进到那里去。”

“你去对我仆人大卫说：‘耶和华如此说：你不可建造殿宇给我居住。

耶和华吩咐摩西说：“你拿着杖去，和你的哥哥亚伦召集会众，在他们眼前吩咐磐石涌出水来，水就会从磐石流出，给会众和他们的牲畜喝。”于是摩西遵照耶和华所吩咐他的，从耶和华面前拿了杖去。摩西和亚伦召集会众到磐石前。摩西对他们说：“听着，你们这些悖逆的人！我们要叫这磐石流出水来给你们吗？”摩西举起手来，用杖击打磐石两下，就有许多水流出来，会众和他们的牲畜都喝了。但是耶和华对摩西、亚伦说：“因为你们不信我，没有在以色列人眼前尊我为圣，所以你们必不能领这会众进入我所要赐给他们的地去。”

为了这事，我曾三次求主使这根刺离开我。

他就稍往前走，俯伏在地，祷告说：“我父啊，如果可能，求你使这杯离开我。然而，不是照我所愿的，而是照你所愿的。”

耶和华对摩西说：“你上这亚巴琳山脉，看我所赐给以色列人的地。看了以后，你也必归到你祖先那里，像你哥哥亚伦归去一样。因为你们在寻的旷野，当会众争闹的时候，违背了我的命令，在取水之事上没有在会众眼前尊我为圣。”这水就是寻的旷野中，加低斯的米利巴水。

他必为我建造殿宇，我必坚定他的王位，直到永远。我要作他的父，他要作我的子；我必不使我的慈爱离开他，像离开在你以前的那位一样。

大卫王站起来，说：“我的弟兄，我的百姓啊，请听我说！我心里本想建造殿宇，安放耶和华的约柜，作为我们上帝的脚凳，并且我已经预备了建造的材料。只是上帝对我说：‘你不可为我的名建造殿宇，因你是战士，流了人的血。’然而，耶和华—以色列的上帝在我父的全家拣选我作以色列的王，直到永远。因他拣选犹大为领袖，在犹大家中拣选我父家，在我父的众儿子里喜悦我，立我作全以色列的王。

他为我们的过犯受害，为我们的罪孽被压伤。因他受的惩罚，我们得平安；因他受的鞭伤，我们得医治。我们都如羊走迷，各人偏行己路；耶和华使我们众人的罪孽都归在他身上。

耶稣回答：“你们不知道所求的是什么。我将要喝的杯，你们能喝吗？”他们对他说：“我们能。”
