But because of you the Lord was angry with me and would not listen to me.“ That is enough,” the Lord said.“ Do not speak to me anymore about this matter.

因為你們的緣故，耶和華也向我發怒，說，『你也不能進入那片土地，

「我已經一百二十歲了，無法再繼續帶領你們，耶和華曾說我不得過約旦河。

他們在米利巴泉邊惹耶和華發怒，連累了摩西。因為他們惹摩西發怒，以致他說了魯莽的話。

耶和華對摩西說：「這便是我向亞伯拉罕、以撒和雅各起誓要賜給他們子孫的土地。現在我讓你親眼看到了，但你不能進入。」

他對所羅門說：「兒啊，我本想為我的上帝耶和華的名建造一座殿宇。但耶和華對我說，『你殺了許多人，打了很多仗，在我眼前使許多人血灑大地，因此你不可為我的名建造殿宇。你將生一個兒子，我必使他安享太平，不受四圍的仇敵侵擾。他的名字要叫所羅門，他執政期間，我必使以色列太平安寧。

因為在荀曠野，在加低斯的米利巴泉旁，你和亞倫對我不忠，沒有在以色列人中尊我為聖。所以，你只能遠遠地觀看我要賜給以色列人的土地，卻不能進去。」

「你去告訴我的僕人大衛，『耶和華說，你不是為我建造殿宇的人。』

耶和華對摩西說：「你拿著杖和你哥哥亞倫招聚會眾，當著他們的面吩咐磐石流出水來，水就會從磐石流出，供會眾和牲畜喝。」摩西遵命而行，從耶和華面前取了杖，然後和亞倫把會眾招聚到磐石前，說：「你們這些叛逆之徒聽著，非要我們叫磐石給你們流出水來嗎？」接著，摩西舉起手中的杖擊打磐石兩下，水便噴湧而出，會眾和牲畜都喝了。耶和華對摩西和亞倫說：「你們對我沒有足夠的信心，沒有當著以色列人的面尊我為聖，所以你們不得帶領會眾進入我將要賜給他們的土地。」

我曾三次祈求主叫這根刺離開我，

祂稍往前走，俯伏在地上禱告：「我父啊！如果可以，求你撤去此杯。然而，願你的旨意成就，而非我的意願。」

耶和華對摩西說：「你上亞巴琳山去眺望我賜給以色列人的土地。看了以後，你就要像你哥哥亞倫一樣去祖先那裡了。因為會眾在荀曠野反叛我的時候，你們二人沒有按照我的指示取水，沒有在他們面前尊我為聖。」耶和華指的是米利巴泉事件，發生在荀曠野的加低斯。

他要為我建造殿宇，我必使他王位永固。我要做他的父親，他要做我的兒子。我的慈愛曾離開在你之前的掃羅王，但我的慈愛必不離開他。

大衛王站起來說：「我的弟兄，我的人民啊，請聽我說。我本想建造一座殿宇安放耶和華的約櫃，作我們上帝的腳凳，我已準備好建造的材料。但上帝對我說，『你不可為我的名建造殿宇，因為你是個戰士，曾流過人的血。』以色列的上帝耶和華從我父親家中揀選我做以色列的王，直到永遠。因為祂揀選了猶大支派做首領；在猶大支派中，祂揀選了我父親家；在我父親的眾子中，祂喜悅我，立我做以色列的王。

誰知祂是因我們的過犯而被刺透，因我們的罪惡而被壓傷。我們因祂所受的刑罰而得到平安，因祂所受的鞭傷而得到醫治。我們都像迷路的羊，各人偏行己路，但上帝卻讓祂承擔我們眾人的罪惡。

耶穌回答說：「你們不知道自己在求什麼。我要喝的那一杯，你們能喝嗎？」他們說：「我們能。」
