「那時我吩咐他們，『你們的上帝耶和華已經把這些地方賜給你們，但你們所有的戰士必須帶著兵器過河，做同胞的先鋒。

“那時，我吩咐你們：‘耶和華你們的神，已經把這地賜給你們作產業了；你們所有的戰士，都要預備好，在你們的兄弟以色列人面前過河去。

『那時我吩咐你們說：「永恆主你們的上帝已將這地賜給你們去取得它；你們一切有力氣的人都要武裝好，好在你們族弟兄以色列人前面過去。

時、我命爾曰、爾上帝耶和華、既以斯土錫爾為業、爾之勇士、必皆執兵、先爾兄弟以色列人而往、

當時我諭之曰、爾之上帝耶和華雖以斯土錫爾、然爾之軍旅必備以戰、先爾同儕以色列族而遄征、

當時我諭爾曹得斯地之人曰、主爾之天主、既以斯地賜爾為業、爾中所有戰士必執器械、在爾同族同族原文作兄弟以色列人前先往、

I commanded you at that time:“ The Lord your God has given you this land to take possession of it. But all your able- bodied men, armed for battle, must cross over ahead of the other Israelites.

Here is the command I gave at that time to the tribes of Reuben and Gad and half of the tribe of Manasseh. I said,“ The Lord your God has given you this land as your very own. But all your strong men must be prepared for battle. They must cross over ahead of the rest of the Israelites.

“ And I commanded you at that time, saying,‘ The Lord your God has given you this land to possess. All your men of valor shall cross over armed before your brothers, the people of Israel.

“ At that time I gave this command to the tribes that would live east of the Jordan:‘ Although the Lord your God has given you this land as your property, all your fighting men must cross the Jordan ahead of your Israelite relatives, armed and ready to assist them.

“ I commanded you at that time: The LORD your God has given you this land to possess. All your valiant men will cross over in battle formation ahead of your brothers the Israelites.

“ Then I commanded you at that time, saying,‘ The Lord your God has given you this land to possess it; all you valiant men shall cross over armed ahead of your brothers, the sons of Israel.

“ Then I commanded you at that time, saying:‘ The Lord your God has given you this land to possess. All you men of valor shall cross over armed before your brethren, the children of Israel.

And I commanded you at that time, saying, Jehovah your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all the men of valor.

“ I commanded you at that time: The Lord your God has given you this land to possess. All your fighting men will cross over in battle formation ahead of your brothers the Israelites.

And I commanded you at that time, saying, The LORD your God hath given you this land to possess it: ye shall pass over armed before your brethren the children of Israel, all[ that are] meet for the war.

At that time I instructed you as follows:“ The LORD your God has given you this land for your possession. You warriors are to cross over before your fellow Israelites equipped for battle.

I commanded you at that time, saying,“ Yahweh your God has given you this land to possess it. All of you men of valor shall pass over armed before your brothers, the children of Israel.

摩西对他们说：“你们若要这么做，若要在耶和华面前带着兵器出去打仗，你们中间所有带兵器的人都要在耶和华面前过约旦河，直到耶和华把仇敌从他面前赶出去。那地在耶和华面前被征服以后，你们方可回来。这样，你们向耶和华和以色列才算为无罪，这地也必在耶和华面前归你们为业。倘若你们不这样做，看哪，你们就得罪了耶和华，当知道你们的罪必找上你们。如今你们可以为孩童建城，为羊群筑圈，但你们口所讲出来的话，必须实践。”

吕便人、迦得人、玛拿西半支派的人都照摩西所吩咐他们的，带着兵器在以色列人的前面过去。约有四万带兵器的军队在耶和华面前过去，到耶利哥的平原，准备上阵。

此后，约书亚召了吕便人、迦得人和玛拿西半支派的人来，对他们说：“耶和华的仆人摩西所吩咐你们的，你们都遵守了；我吩咐你们的话，你们也都听从了。你们这许多日子，都没有撇弃你们的弟兄，直到今日，并且遵守了耶和华你们上帝所吩咐的命令。如今耶和华—你们的上帝已经照着他所应许的，使你们的弟兄得享安宁。你们现在可以返回自己的帐棚，回到耶和华的仆人摩西在约旦河东所赐给你们为业之地。只是务要谨守遵行耶和华的仆人摩西所吩咐你们的诫命和律法，爱耶和华—你们的上帝，行他一切的道，守他的诫命，紧紧跟随他，尽心尽性事奉他。”于是约书亚为他们祝福，送他们回去，他们就回到自己的帐棚去了。摩西在巴珊曾把地业分给玛拿西的半支派；然后约书亚在约旦河的西岸，在他们弟兄中，又把地业分给玛拿西的另外半支派。约书亚送他们回帐棚的时候，为他们祝福，对他们说：“你们要把许多财物，许多牲畜，和金、银、铜、铁，以及许多衣服，带回你们的帐棚去，要把你们从仇敌夺来的东西分给你们的众弟兄。”于是吕便人、迦得人、玛拿西半支派的人从迦南地的示罗起行，离开以色列人，回到他们已得为业的基列地，就是他们照耶和华藉摩西所吩咐而得的。

约书亚对吕便人、迦得人和玛拿西半支派的人说：“你们要记得耶和华的仆人摩西所吩咐你们的话说：‘耶和华—你们的上帝使你们得享安宁，必将这地赐给你们。’你们的妻子、孩子和牲畜可以留在约旦河东、摩西所给你们的地。但你们中间所有大能的勇士都要带着兵器，在你们的弟兄前面过去，你们要帮助他们。等到耶和华使你们的弟兄和你们一样得享平静，并且得着耶和华—你们上帝所赐他们为业之地的时候，你们才可以回到你们所得之地，承受为业，就是耶和华的仆人摩西在约旦河东、向日出的方向所给你们的地。”
