But to this day the Lord has not given you a mind that understands or eyes that see or ears that hear.

But to this day the Lord hasn’t given you a mind that understands. He hasn’t given you eyes that see. He hasn’t given you ears that hear.

But to this day the Lord has not given you a heart to understand or eyes to see or ears to hear.

But to this day the Lord has not given you minds that understand, nor eyes that see, nor ears that hear!

Yet to this day the LORD has not given you a mind to understand, eyes to see, or ears to hear.

Yet the Lord has not given you a heart to perceive and eyes to see and ears to hear, to this very day.

but Jehovah hath not given you a heart to know, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.

But to this very day the LORD has not given you an understanding mind, perceptive eyes, or discerning ears!

But Yahweh has not given you a heart to know, eyes to see, and ears to hear, to this day.

The hearing ear and the seeing eye— the Lord made them both.

And He replied: Go! Say to these people: Keep listening, but do not understand; keep looking, but do not perceive.Dull the minds of these people; deafen their ears and blind their eyes; otherwise they might see with their eyes and hear with their ears, understand with their minds, turn back, and be healed.

They are darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them and because of the hardness of their hearts.

Why, Yahweh, do You make us stray from Your ways? You harden our hearts so we do not fear You. Return, because of Your servants, the tribes of Your heritage.

Why don’t you understand what I say? Because you cannot listen to My word.

But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us travel through his land, for the Lord your God had made his spirit stubborn and his heart obstinate in order to hand him over to you, as has now taken place.

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

But this was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet, who said: Lord, who has believed our message? What then? Israel did not find what it was looking for, but the elect did find it. The rest were hardened,as it is written: God gave them a spirit of insensitivity, eyes that cannot see and ears that cannot hear, to this day.And David says: Let their feasting become a snare and a trap, a pitfall and a retribution to them.Let their eyes be darkened so they cannot see, and their backs be bent continually.

No one undergoing a trial should say,“ I am being tempted by God.” For God is not tempted by evil, and He Himself doesn’t tempt anyone.But each person is tempted when he is drawn away and enticed by his own evil desires.Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and when sin is fully grown, it gives birth to death.Don’t be deceived, my dearly loved brothers.Every generous act and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights; with Him there is no variation or shadow cast by turning.

instructing his opponents with gentleness. Perhaps God will grant them repentance leading them to the knowledge of the truth.
