Yet to this day the LORD has not given you a mind to understand, eyes to see, or ears to hear.

But to this day the Lord has not given you a mind that understands or eyes that see or ears that hear.

But to this day the Lord hasn’t given you a mind that understands. He hasn’t given you eyes that see. He hasn’t given you ears that hear.

But to this day the Lord has not given you a heart to understand or eyes to see or ears to hear.

But to this day the Lord has not given you minds that understand, nor eyes that see, nor ears that hear!

Yet to this day the Lord has not given you a heart to know, nor eyes to see, nor ears to hear.

Yet the Lord has not given you a heart to perceive and eyes to see and ears to hear, to this very day.

but Jehovah hath not given you a heart to know, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.

Yet to this day the Lord has not given you a mind to understand, eyes to see, or ears to hear.

Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day.

But to this very day the LORD has not given you an understanding mind, perceptive eyes, or discerning ears!

But Yahweh has not given you a heart to know, eyes to see, and ears to hear, to this day.

The hearing ear and the seeing eye— the LORD made them both.

And he replied: Go! Say to these people: Keep listening, but do not understand; keep looking, but do not perceive.Make the minds of these people dull; deafen their ears and blind their eyes; otherwise they might see with their eyes and hear with their ears, understand with their minds, turn back, and be healed.

They are darkened in their understanding, excluded from the life of God, because of the ignorance that is in them and because of the hardness of their hearts.

Why, LORD, do you make us stray from your ways? You harden our hearts so we do not fear you. Return, because of your servants, the tribes of your heritage.

Why don’t you understand what I say? Because you cannot listen to my word.

But King Sihon of Heshbon would not let us travel through his land, for the LORD your God had made his spirit stubborn and his heart obstinate in order to hand him over to you, as has now taken place.

I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will remove your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.

This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet, who said: Lord, who has believed our message? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?This is why they were unable to believe, because Isaiah also said:He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so that they would not see with their eyes or understand with their hearts, and turn, and I would heal them.

and with every wicked deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth and so be saved.For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe the lie,so that all will be condemned— those who did not believe the truth but delighted in unrighteousness.

Yet still today, whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their hearts,

He answered,“ Because the secrets of the kingdom of heaven have been given for you to know, but it has not been given to them.For whoever has, more will be given to him, and he will have more than enough; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him.That is why I speak to them in parables, because looking they do not see, and hearing they do not listen or understand.Isaiah’s prophecy is fulfilled in them, which says: You will listen and listen, but never understand; you will look and look, but never perceive.For this people’s heart has grown callous; their ears are hard of hearing, and they have shut their eyes; otherwise they might see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back— and I would heal them.

No one undergoing a trial should say,“ I am being tempted by God,” since God is not tempted by evil, and he himself doesn’t tempt anyone.But each person is tempted when he is drawn away and enticed by his own evil desire.Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and when sin is fully grown, it gives birth to death.Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters.Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.

instructing his opponents with gentleness. Perhaps God will grant them repentance leading them to the knowledge of the truth.
