隱微之事屬主我之天主、明示之事屬我及我子孫、使我守此律法之諸言、直至永遠、

The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.

The Lord our God keeps certain things hidden. But he makes other things known to us and to our children forever. He does it so we can obey all the words of this law.

耶穌曰、時與日乃父以己權所定、非爾所當知也、

以深奧隱秘之事示人、通悉暗中所有、光明與主偕居、

深哉富哉天主智慧知識、其法不可測、其道不可尋、其道不可尋或經作其蹤不可追云、孰知主之心、孰與主共議、

示爾以智慧之奧妙、知識之廣大、則可悟天主罰爾、猶不足以蔽辜、天主罰爾猶不足以蔽辜或作爾之罪愆天主不皆記念天主之奧妙、爾豈能測度、全能之主、爾豈能盡知、

答曰、天國之奧、賜爾知、不賜眾知、

誰知主之心而能教主乎、我儕有基督之心、

敬畏主者、主必與之相交、示以聖約、

萬物由父賜我、父之外無人識子、子及子所樂以父示者之外、無人識父、凡勞苦負重者、當就我、我將賜爾以安、我心溫良謙遜、爾負我軛而學我、則爾心必獲安、蓋我軛易、我負輕也、

博士長伯提沙撒歟、我知爾素為聖神明之神所感、凡奧秘之事、爾無不明晰、今我得夢、爾解其兆、爾解其兆或作爾為我解之

聖經皆由天主默示所作、有益於教誨督責、使人歸正、教人學義、

主天主未以其隱秘先示其僕眾先知、則一無所行、

為應先知所言云、我將啟口設喻、創世以來所隱者、將述明之、○

其中何人得明我之奧旨、得悟我之言、何人諦聽體會我言、○

欲其求天上之天主施憐憫、默示此奧秘、以免但以理與同儕、及巴比倫其餘之哲士、同就誅戮、時但以理在夜間異象中、蒙默示此奧秘、遂祝謝天上之天主、

蓋乖戾者主所惡、正直者主所悅、

惟載此、使爾信耶穌為天主子基督、既信、則可因其名而得永生、

惟天主能堅爾曹、循我所宣之福音、所傳耶穌基督之道、即按所顯示亙古以來隱秘之奧、此奧今已昭著、且遵永生天主命、以先知書示諸異邦人知之、使其信服、

我啟口設喻言、述說古來之隱語、我儕所聞所知、與我列祖所傳授、必不隱其子孫、必將主之榮耀權能、並主所行之奇跡、傳於後世、主立法於雅各、定律於以色列、命我列祖傳示子孫、使後世知曉、子又傳子、孫又傳孫、使之仰望天主、不忘天主之作為、謹守天主之命令、

但以理對曰、王所問之奧秘、非哲士、術士、博士、星士、所能告王者、惟天上有天主、能顯示奧秘、以末日必有之事、示尼布甲尼撒王、今王之夢、寢於床所見之異象乃此、今王之夢寢於床所見之異象乃此或作今我以王作之夢王寢於床時所想見之異象告王王寢於床時、思念將來之事、顯示奧秘之主、以後必有之事示王、此奧秘顯示於我、非為我較天下人有智慧、乃為以夢兆示王、使王憶及心觀之異象、使王憶及心觀之異象或作俾王得知王心之思念

因以曉人曰、敬畏主、此即智慧、遠離惡事、此即明哲、

人當求法言及證詞、若不循此而言、則不得見晨光、

誨爾子女、或坐於室、或行於路、或寢或興、恆以此為訓、恆以此為訓或作俱當講諭

憶爾有無偽之信、昔爾祖母羅以、爾母友尼基、有此信、我誠知爾亦有此信、

與子孫盡心盡意歸主爾之天主、遵從其言、循我今日所諭爾者、

耶穌曰、若我欲彼存待我來、與爾何與、爾惟從我、

我不復稱爾為僕、蓋僕不知主人所行、我稱爾為友、緣我以所聞於我父者示爾、
