The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.

The Lord our God keeps certain things hidden. But he makes other things known to us and to our children forever. He does it so we can obey all the words of this law.

哦，深奥啊！神的智慧和知识的财富！他的判断是多么地无法探究，他的道是多么地无法测度！“到底是谁知道主的心意？是谁做过他的谋士？

耶稣回答他们，说：“天国的奥秘已经赐下来让你们知道，而没有赐给那些人；

“到底谁曾知道主的心意？到底谁将教导他呢？”但是我们有基督的心意了。

耶和华与敬畏他的人亲密，使他们明白他的约。

我父把一切都交给了我。除了父，没有人认识子；除了子和子所愿意启示的人，也没有人认识父。“所有劳苦和背负重担的人哪，到我这里来吧！我将使你们得到安息。你们当负起我的轭，向我学，因为我心地柔和、谦卑。这样，你们就将寻得灵魂的安息。要知道，我的轭是容易负的，我的担子是轻省的。”

“术士的领袖伯提沙撒啊，我知道你里面有圣洁之神的灵，任何奥秘都难不倒你！你就讲说我所看到的梦中异象和梦的释义吧！

圣经都是神所默示的，对于教导、责备、规正、在义中的训练都是有益处的，

这是为要应验那藉着先知所说的话：“我要开口，用比喻说出创世以来被隐藏的事。”

让他们在这奥秘的事上，向天上的神祈求怜悯，免得但以理和他的同伴与巴比伦其余的智慧人一同灭亡。于是这奥秘的事在夜间的异象中显明给了但以理；但以理就颂赞天上的神。

因为耶和华憎恶邪僻的人，而与正直的人亲密无间。

但这些事被记下来，是要你们相信耶稣就是基督、是神的儿子；并且使你们因着信，就奉他的名有生命。

愿荣耀归于神——他能藉着我的福音和有关耶稣基督的传道，藉着奥秘的启示坚固你们。这奥秘亘古以来是隐藏的，然而如今已经得以显现；并且按照永恒神的命令，藉着先知们的经文显明了出来。这是为要在万民中带来信仰上的顺从——

我要开口说比喻，吐露古时的谜题，就是我们所听过、所知道的，也是我们的祖先向我们讲述过的——我们不会向子孙隐瞒，而要向后代讲述对耶和华的赞美，讲述他的大能和他所行的奇妙作为。他在雅各中立下法度，在以色列中设立律法，这律法是他吩咐我们的祖先教导子孙的，好让将要出生的后代子孙可以明白，并且起来向他们的子孙讲述；这样他们就把神当作他们的依靠，不会忘记神所行的，而会谨守他的诫命；

但以理在王面前回答说：“王所问的那奥秘的事，没有智慧人、占卜者、术士或算命者能讲明给王。然而天上有一位神，就是显明奥秘的那一位，他已经使尼布甲尼撒王明白了末后的日子将要发生的事——这就是你在床上所做的梦和脑海中的异象。王啊，你在床上所怀的意念是此后将要发生的事，而显明奥秘的那一位已经使你明白了将要发生的事！至于那奥秘的事显明给我，不是因为我比所有的活人更有智慧，而是要使王明白那梦的释义和王心里的意念。

当求问神的训诲和诫命！如果他们不按照这准则说话，他们就没有曙光。

我想起你里面那不虚假的信仰，这信仰先是在你外祖母罗伊丝和你母亲犹妮丝里面，我深信也在你里面。

耶稣说：“就算我愿意他一直留到我来的时候，这与你有什么关系？你跟从我！”

我不再称你们为奴仆，因为奴仆不知道主人所做的事。我却称你们为朋友，因为我把从我父所听到的一切，都让你们明白了。
