All the nations will ask,‘ Why has the LORD done this to this land? Why this intense outburst of anger?’

所看见的人，连万国人，都必问说：‘耶和华为何向此地这样行呢？这样大发烈怒是什么意思呢？’

万国必说：‘耶和华为什么向此地这样做呢？为什么要大发烈怒呢？’

万国必说：‘耶和华为什么向此地这样做呢？为什么要大发烈怒呢？’

万国必问，‘耶和华为什么要这样对待这地方？祂为什么大发烈怒？’

看见了这些的人和万国的人都要问：‘耶和华为什么向这地这样行呢？为什么大发烈怒呢？’

所看見的人，連萬國人，都必問說：『耶和華為何向此地這樣行呢？這樣大發烈怒是甚麼意思呢？』

萬國必說：『耶和華為甚麼向此地這樣做呢？為甚麼要大發烈怒呢？』

萬國必說：『耶和華為甚麼向此地這樣做呢？為甚麼要大發烈怒呢？』

萬國必問，『耶和華為什麼要這樣對待這地方？祂為什麼大發烈怒？』

看見了這些的人和萬國的人都要問：‘耶和華為甚麼向這地這樣行呢？為甚麼大發烈怒呢？’

這些看見的人、和萬國人必都說：「永恆主為甚麼這樣辦此地呢？這樣大的烈怒是甚麼意思呢？」

列邦人皆問曰、耶和華何為行此於斯土、其怒若是之烈、果何故乎、

俱必問曰、耶和華降罰於斯土、何為至於如此、其烈怒之甚、又曷故乎。

彼與列邦人皆必問曰、主何為如此待此地、其怒若是之烈何故、

All the nations will ask:“ Why has the Lord done this to this land? Why this fierce, burning anger?”

All the nations will ask,“ Why has the Lord done this to the land? What could have made him so very angry?”

all the nations will say,‘ Why has the Lord done thus to this land? What caused the heat of this great anger?’

“ And all the surrounding nations will ask,‘ Why has the Lord done this to this land? Why was he so angry?’

All the nations will say,‘ Why has the Lord done all this to this land? Why this great outburst of anger?’

All nations would say,‘ Why has the Lord done so to this land? What does the heat of this great anger mean?’

even all the nations shall say, Wherefore hath Jehovah done thus unto this land? what meaneth the heat of this great anger?

All the nations will ask,‘ Why has the Lord done this to this land? Why this great outburst of anger?’

Even all nations shall say, Wherefore hath the LORD done thus unto this land? what[ meaneth] the heat of this great anger?

Then all the nations will ask,“ Why has the LORD done all this to this land? What is this fierce, heated display of anger all about?”

Even all the nations will say,“ Why has Yahweh done this to this land? What does the heat of this great anger mean?”

“ Many nations will pass by this city and ask one another,‘ Why did the LORD do such a thing to this great city?’They will answer,‘ Because they abandoned the covenant of the LORD their God and bowed in worship to other gods and served them.’”

Though this temple is now exalted, everyone who passes by will be appalled and will scoff. They will say,“ Why did the LORD do this to this land and this temple?”Then they will say,“ Because they abandoned the LORD their God who brought their ancestors out of the land of Egypt. They held on to other gods and bowed in worship to them and served them. Because of this, the LORD brought all this ruin on them.”

As for this temple, which was exalted, everyone who passes by will be appalled and will say,“ Why did the LORD do this to this land and this temple?”Then they will say,“ Because they abandoned the LORD God of their ancestors who brought them out of the land of Egypt. They clung to other gods and bowed in worship to them and served them. Because of this, he brought all this ruin on them.”

All who pass by scornfully clap their hands at you. They hiss and shake their heads at Daughter Jerusalem: Is this the city that was called the perfection of beauty, the joy of the whole earth?All your enemies open their mouths against you. They hiss and gnash their teeth, saying,“ We have swallowed her up. This is the day we have waited for! We have lived to see it.”The LORD has done what he planned; he has accomplished his decree, which he ordained in days of old. He has demolished without compassion, letting the enemy gloat over you and exalting the horn of your adversaries.

The kings of the earth and all the world’s inhabitants did not believe that an enemy or adversary could enter Jerusalem’s gates.

Because of your hardened and unrepentant heart you are storing up wrath for yourself in the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment is revealed.

They will bring you consolation when you see their conduct and actions, and you will know that it was not without cause that I have done what I did to it.” This is the declaration of the Lord GOD.
