你们中间，不论男人或女人，家族或支派，切不可有人背弃我们的上帝耶和华，去祭拜列国的神明，免得你们中间有残根长出苦毒的果实，

恐怕你们中间有男人或女人，家族或支派，今日心里偏离了耶和华我们的神，去事奉那些国的神，又恐怕你们中间有恶根，生出毒草和苦堇来；

惟恐你們中間，或男或女，或族長或支派長，今日心裏偏離耶和華－我們的神，去事奉那些國的神；又怕你們中間有惡根生出苦菜和茵蔯來，

恐怕你們中間有男人或女人，家族或支派，今日心裡偏離了耶和華我們的神，去事奉那些國的神，又恐怕你們中間有惡根，生出毒草和苦堇來；

我同你們立約宣誓，是恐怕你們中間有人、或男人或女人、或家族或族派、今日心裏偏離了永恆主我們的上帝，去事奉那些國的神；又恐怕你們中間有惡根、結出毒菜和苦堇為果實來，

此約之立、以免爾中男女、宗族支派、今日中心違棄我上帝耶和華、往事斯族之神、致有荼毒之根、生於爾中、

爾中之男女、宗族支派、其心毋違我上帝耶和華、而奉事他邦之上帝、爾中之人、其毒毋太苦、如茵蔯之根、

如爾中或男或女、或宗族、或支派、今日心棄主我之天主、往事此諸邦之神、若有苦毒之根、生於爾中、

Make sure there is no man or woman, clan or tribe among you today whose heart turns away from the Lord our God to go and worship the gods of those nations; make sure there is no root among you that produces such bitter poison.

Make sure there isn’t a man or woman among your families or tribes who turns away from the Lord our God. No one must worship the gods of those nations. Make sure that kind of worship doesn’t spread like bitter poison through your whole community.

Beware lest there be among you a man or woman or clan or tribe whose heart is turning away today from the Lord our God to go and serve the gods of those nations. Beware lest there be among you a root bearing poisonous and bitter fruit,

I am making this covenant with you so that no one among you— no man, woman, clan, or tribe— will turn away from the Lord our God to worship these gods of other nations, and so that no root among you bears bitter and poisonous fruit.

Be sure there is no man, woman, clan, or tribe among you today whose heart turns away from the LORD our God to go and worship the gods of those nations. Be sure there is no root among you bearing poisonous and bitter fruit.

Beware that the heart of no man, woman, clan, or tribe among you turns away from the LORD our God today to pursue and serve the gods of those nations; beware that there is among you no root producing poisonous and bitter fruit.

lest there should be among you man, woman, family, or tribe whose heart turns away today from Yahweh our God, to go to serve the gods of those nations; lest there should be among you a root that produces bitter poison;

要谨慎，免得有人失去了上帝的恩典；免得有毒根生出来扰乱你们，因而使许多人沾染污秽，

你们要谨慎，免得心受诱惑，转去事奉别神，敬拜它们，以致耶和华的怒气向你们发作，使天封闭不下雨，使地不出产，使你们在耶和华所赐给你们的美地上速速灭亡。

“你中间若有先知或是做梦的人起来，向你显神迹奇事，他对你说的神迹奇事应验了，说：‘我们去随从别神，事奉它们吧。’那是你不认识的。你不可听那先知或是那做梦之人的话，因为这是耶和华—你们的上帝考验你们，要知道你们是否尽心尽性爱耶和华—你们的上帝。你们要顺从耶和华—你们的上帝，敬畏他，谨守他的诫命，听从他的话，事奉他，紧紧跟随他。那先知或那做梦的人要被处死，因为他出言悖逆那领你们出埃及地、救赎你脱离为奴之家的耶和华—你们的上帝，要引诱你离开耶和华—你上帝吩咐你要行的道。这样，你就把恶从你中间除掉。“你的同胞兄弟，或是你的儿女，或是你怀中的妻，或是如同自己性命的朋友，若暗中引诱你，说：‘我们去事奉别神吧。’那是你和你列祖所不认识的，你四围列国的神明，无论是离你近或离你远，从地这边到地那边，你都不可附和他，也不要听从他。你的眼不可顾惜他，不可怜悯他，也不可袒护他。你务必杀他；你先下手，然后众百姓才下手，把他处死。要用石头打死他，因为他想引诱你离开那领你出埃及地为奴之家的耶和华—你的上帝。全以色列都要听见而害怕，不敢在你中间再行这样的恶事了。“若你听见人说，在耶和华—你上帝所赐给你居住的城镇中的一座，有些无赖之徒从你中间出来，引诱本城的居民，说：‘我们去事奉别神吧。’那是你们不认识的，你就要调查，探听，细心询问。看哪，是真的，确实有这可憎的事在你中间发生，你务必用刀杀那城里的居民，把城里所有的，连牲畜都用刀灭尽。

所以万军之耶和华—以色列的上帝如此说：“看哪，我必将茵陈给这百姓吃，又用苦水给他们喝。

马岂能在岩石上奔跑？人岂能在那里用牛耕种呢？你们却使公平变为苦胆，使公义的果子变为茵陈。

弟兄们，你们要谨慎，免得你们中间有人存着邪恶不信的心，离弃了永生的上帝。

我看出你正在苦胆之中，被不义捆绑着。”

“在你中间，在耶和华—你上帝所赐你的各城中，任何一座城里，若有男人或女人做了耶和华—你上帝眼中看为恶的事，违背了他的约，去事奉别神，敬拜它们，或拜太阳，或拜月亮，或拜天上的万象，是我不曾吩咐的。有人告诉你，你也听见了，就要细心探听。看哪，是真的，确实有这可憎的事在以色列中发生，你就要将行这恶事的男人或女人拉到城门外，用石头把这男人或女人处死。要凭两个证人或三个证人的口，才可以把他处死，不可只凭一个证人的口处死他。证人要先动手，然后众百姓也动手把他处死。这样，你就把恶从你中间除掉。

他们讲空话，以假誓立约；因此，惩罚如苦菜滋生在田间的犁沟中。
