你们中间，不论男人或女人，家族或支派，切不可有人背弃我们的上帝耶和华，去祭拜列国的神明，免得你们中间有残根长出苦毒的果实，

惟恐你们中间，或男或女，或族长或支派长，今日心里偏离耶和华我们的神，去侍奉那些国的神；又怕你们中间有恶根生出苦菜和茵陈来，

惟恐你们中间有人，或男或女，或宗族或支派，今日心里偏离耶和华—我们的上帝，去事奉那些国的神明，又怕你们中间有根长出苦菜和茵陈来。

此約之立、以免爾中男女、宗族支派、今日中心違棄我上帝耶和華、往事斯族之神、致有荼毒之根、生於爾中、

爾中之男女、宗族支派、其心毋違我上帝耶和華、而奉事他邦之上帝、爾中之人、其毒毋太苦、如茵蔯之根、

如爾中或男或女、或宗族、或支派、今日心棄主我之天主、往事此諸邦之神、若有苦毒之根、生於爾中、

Make sure there is no man or woman, clan or tribe among you today whose heart turns away from the Lord our God to go and worship the gods of those nations; make sure there is no root among you that produces such bitter poison.

Make sure there isn’t a man or woman among your families or tribes who turns away from the Lord our God. No one must worship the gods of those nations. Make sure that kind of worship doesn’t spread like bitter poison through your whole community.

Beware lest there be among you a man or woman or clan or tribe whose heart is turning away today from the Lord our God to go and serve the gods of those nations. Beware lest there be among you a root bearing poisonous and bitter fruit,

I am making this covenant with you so that no one among you— no man, woman, clan, or tribe— will turn away from the Lord our God to worship these gods of other nations, and so that no root among you bears bitter and poisonous fruit.

Be sure there is no man, woman, clan, or tribe among you today whose heart turns away from the LORD our God to go and worship the gods of those nations. Be sure there is no root among you bearing poisonous and bitter fruit.

Beware that the heart of no man, woman, clan, or tribe among you turns away from the LORD our God today to pursue and serve the gods of those nations; beware that there is among you no root producing poisonous and bitter fruit.

lest there should be among you man, woman, family, or tribe whose heart turns away today from Yahweh our God, to go to serve the gods of those nations; lest there should be among you a root that produces bitter poison;

你们要谨慎，以免有人失去上帝的恩典，长出苦毒的根扰乱你们，玷污众人。

你们要谨慎，免得被迷惑，转而祭拜、供奉其他神明。否则，耶和华必向你们发怒，使天不下雨、地无出产，以致你们在祂赐给你们的佳美之地上迅速灭亡。

“如果你们中间出现了先知或解梦的人，要显神迹奇事给你们看，劝你们随从、供奉素不认识的神明，即使他们显的神迹奇事应验了，你们也不可听从他们。因为这是你们的上帝耶和华在试验你们，要看看你们是否全心全意地爱祂。你们要跟从你们的上帝耶和华，敬畏祂，遵守祂的诫命，听从祂的话，事奉祂，倚靠祂。必须处死那些先知或解梦的人，因为他们怂恿你们背叛你们的上帝耶和华、偏离祂吩咐你们当走的道路。你们的上帝耶和华曾带你们离开埃及，救你们脱离奴役。你们必须清除你们当中的邪恶。“如果你们的兄弟、儿女、爱妻或挚友引诱你们去拜你们和你们祖先都不认识的神明，引诱你们去拜你们周围各族的神明，或在附近或远在天边，你们不可迁就、听从他们，不可怜惜他们，不可放过或包庇他们。必须处死他们。你们要首先下手，然后众人一起打死他们。你们要用石头打死他们，因为他们企图使你们背弃你们的上帝耶和华，祂曾把你们从受奴役之地——埃及领出来。这样，所有以色列人听了就会害怕，必无人再敢做这种恶事。“在你们的上帝耶和华将要赐给你们居住的各城中，如果你们听说某城里有恶人引诱城中的居民偏离正路，唆使他们去供奉你们不认识的神明，

因此，以色列的上帝——万军之耶和华说：“看啊，我要使这百姓吃苦艾，喝毒药；

马能在悬崖上奔驰吗？牛能在海中耕作吗？你们却使公正沦为毒药，使公义之果变成苦艾。

弟兄姊妹，要谨慎，免得你们当中有人心存恶念，不肯相信，背弃了永活的上帝。

我看得出你正因为嫉妒而心里充满了苦涩，被罪恶捆绑。”

“如果有人在你们的上帝耶和华将要赐给你们的各城镇做祂视为恶的事，违背祂的约，不遵守祂的禁令，去供奉和祭拜其他神明，祭拜日、月或星辰，你们得知后，必须彻底调查。如果属实，在以色列确实有人做这种可憎之事，就要把那人带到城门口，用石头打死他。但你们不可单凭一个证人便处死那人，要有两三个证人方可处死他。证人要先扔石头，众人随后，这样就除掉了你们中间的罪恶。

他们说虚话，起假誓，立空盟，因此不法之事滋长，犹如田间犁沟中蔓延的毒草。
