I am making this covenant and this oath not only with you,

我不但与你们立这约，起这誓，

耶和华的这誓约不仅是与你们立的，

“我不但与你们立这约，起这誓；

我不但與你們立這約，起這誓，

耶和華的這誓約不僅是與你們立的，

“我不但與你們立這約，起這誓；

『我不單同你們立這約、宣這誓；

此約與誓、我不第與爾曹立也、

我立此盟約、不第與爾曹、

此約此誓我不第與爾曹立、

I am making this covenant, with its oath, not only with you

I’m making this covenant and the promise that goes along with it. I’m making this covenant with you.

It is not with you alone that I am making this sworn covenant,

“ But you are not the only ones with whom I am making this covenant with its curses.

I am making this covenant and this oath not only with you,

“ Now it is not with you alone that I am making this covenant and this oath,

“ I make this covenant and this oath, not with you alone,

Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath,

Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath;

It is not with you alone that I am making this covenant by oath,

Neither do I make this covenant and this oath with you only,

“ Look, the days are coming”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.This one will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt— a covenant they broke even though I had married them”— the Lord’s declaration.“ Instead, this is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after those days”— the Lord’s declaration.“ I will put My teaching within them and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people.No longer will one teach his neighbor or his brother, saying,‘ Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least to the greatest of them”— this is the Lord’s declaration.“ For I will forgive their wrongdoing and never again remember their sin.

For if that first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no occasion for a second one.But finding fault with His people, He says: Look, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—not like the covenant that I made with their ancestors on the day I took them by their hands to lead them out of the land of Egypt. I disregarded them, says the Lord, because they did not continue in My covenant.But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people.And each person will not teach his fellow citizen, and each his brother, saying,“ Know the Lord,” because they will all know Me, from the least to the greatest of them.For I will be merciful to their wrongdoing, and I will never again remember their sins.
