主今日立爾為己民、己為爾之天主、循其所許於爾、亦循其所誓於爾祖亞伯拉罕以撒雅各、

to confirm you this day as his people, that he may be your God as he promised you and as he swore to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

Today he wants to show you that you are his people and that he is your God. That’s what he promised to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

that he may establish you today as his people, and that he may be your God, as he promised you, and as he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

By entering into the covenant today, he will establish you as his people and confirm that he is your God, just as he promised you and as he swore to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

Today he will affirm that you are his people and that he is your God, just as he promised you and as he swore by oath to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

我要與你並你世世代代的後裔堅立我的約，作永遠的約，是要作你和你後裔的神。

我要以你們為我的百姓，我也要作你們的神。你們要知道我是耶和華－你們的神，是救你們脫離埃及人之重擔的。

你若謹守耶和華－你神的誡命，遵行他的道，他必照着向你所起的誓立你作為自己的聖民。

耶和華說：「日子將到，我要與以色列家和猶大家另立新約，不像我拉着他們祖宗的手，領他們出埃及地的時候，與他們所立的約。我雖作他們的丈夫，他們卻背了我的約。這是耶和華說的。」耶和華說：「那些日子以後，我與以色列家所立的約乃是這樣：我要將我的律法放在他們裏面，寫在他們心上。我要作他們的神，他們要作我的子民。

他們卻羨慕一個更美的家鄉，就是在天上的。所以神被稱為他們的神，並不以為恥，因為他已經給他們預備了一座城。

因為你歸耶和華－你神為聖潔的民；耶和華－你神從地上的萬民中揀選你，特作自己的子民。

耶和華今日照他所應許你的，也認你為他的子民，使你謹守他的一切誡命，又使你得稱讚、美名、尊榮，超乎他所造的萬民之上，並照他所應許的使你歸耶和華－你神為聖潔的民。」

他們要作我的子民，我要作他們的神。

你寄居在這地，我必與你同在，賜福給你，因為我要將這些地都賜給你和你的後裔。我必堅定我向你父亞伯拉罕所起的誓。我要加增你的後裔，像天上的星那樣多，又要將這些地都賜給你的後裔。並且地上萬國必因你的後裔得福－

耶和華站在梯子以上，說：「我是耶和華－你祖亞伯拉罕的神，也是以撒的神；我要將你現在所躺臥之地賜給你和你的後裔。你的後裔必像地上的塵沙那樣多，必向東西南北開展；地上萬族必因你和你的後裔得福。我也與你同在。你無論往哪裏去，我必保佑你，領你歸回這地，總不離棄你，直到我成全了向你所應許的。」
