你們的小孩、妻子、和你營中的寄居者，連給你撿柴的、帶給你打水的、都站立着，

爾之子女妻室、營中賓旅、自採薪者、及汲水者、俱立於爾上帝耶和華前、

爾子女妻室、與爾營中之外邦客旅、以及為爾析薪汲水者、俱立於主爾之天主前、

together with your children and your wives, and the foreigners living in your camps who chop your wood and carry your water.

Your children and wives are here with you too. So are the outsiders living in your camps. They chop your wood and carry your water.

your little ones, your wives, and the sojourner who is in your camp, from the one who chops your wood to the one who draws your water,

Your little ones and your wives are with you, as well as the foreigners living among you who chop your wood and carry your water.

your dependents, your wives, and the resident aliens in your camps who cut your wood and draw your water—

your little ones, your wives, and the stranger who is within your camps, from the one who gathers your firewood to the one who draws your water,

your little ones and your wives— also the stranger who is in your camp, from the one who cuts your wood to the one who draws your water—

your little ones, your wives, and thy sojourner that is in the midst of thy camps, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water;

your children, your wives, and the foreigners in your camps who cut your wood and draw your water—

Your little ones, your wives, and thy stranger that[ is] in thy camp, from the hewer of thy wood unto the drawer of thy water:

your infants, your wives, and the foreigners living in your encampment, those who chop wood and those who carry water–

your little ones, your wives, and the foreigners who are in the middle of your camps, from the one who cuts your wood to the one who draws your water,

同行的还有许多外族人和大群的牛羊。

从此不再分犹太人和希腊人，自由人和奴隶，男人和女人，因为你们都在基督耶稣里合而为一了。

跟你们住在一起的外族人如果想为耶和华守逾越节，他全家的男子都必须接受割礼，这样才可以像以色列人一样守逾越节，但没有接受割礼的人绝不可吃逾越节的羊羔。本地人和在你们中间寄居的外族人都要遵守这规矩。”

他们中间有一群乌合之众贪恋从前的食物，以色列人也哭着说：“要是有肉吃多好啊！

从此，不再分希腊人、犹太人，受割礼的、未受割礼的，野蛮人、未开化的人，奴隶和自由人，基督就是一切，并且贯穿一切。

首领又说：“就容他们存活吧。”首领就叫他们为全体会众劈柴挑水。于是，约书亚召来他们，对他们说：“你们为什么要欺骗我们，说你们住得很远？其实你们就住在附近。因此，你们是受咒诅的。你们要永远做奴仆，为我上帝的殿劈柴挑水。”他们答道：“仆人们这样做是因为害怕丧命。我们听说你的上帝耶和华曾经应许祂仆人摩西，要把这整片土地都赐给你们，并要将这里的居民杀尽。现在我们既然落在你的手中，你们想怎样对待我们就怎样对待吧。”约书亚不让以色列人加害他们，因此他们没有被杀死。那天，约书亚让他们在耶和华指定的地方，为会众和耶和华的祭坛劈柴挑水。他们至今仍做这样的工作。

但第七天是你的上帝耶和华的安息日，你和儿女、仆婢、牛驴等牲畜以及你那里的外族人在这一天不可做任何工，好让仆婢和你一样得到休息。
