Among those nations you will find no repose, no resting place for the sole of your foot. There the Lord will give you an anxious mind, eyes weary with longing, and a despairing heart.

Among those nations you won’t find any peace. There won’t be any place where you can make your home and rest your feet. The Lord will give you minds filled with worry. He’ll give you eyes worn out from looking for help. You won’t have any hope in your hearts.

And among these nations you shall find no respite, and there shall be no resting place for the sole of your foot, but the Lord will give you there a trembling heart and failing eyes and a languishing soul.

There among those nations you will find no peace or place to rest. And the Lord will cause your heart to tremble, your eyesight to fail, and your soul to despair.

看哪！我的仆人必因心里高兴而欢呼，你们却要因心中伤痛而哀叫，因灵里破碎而哀号。

你的人民三分之一必在你中间因瘟疫死亡，因饥荒消灭；三分之一必在你周围因刀剑倒毙；三分之一，我要分散到四方去，我还要拔刀追赶他们。“这样我的怒气才可以发尽，我向他们所发的烈怒才可以平息，自己才得到舒畅。我向他们所发的烈怒完全发尽的时候，他们就知道我耶和华说过的话是出于嫉恨的心。我要使你变成荒地，使你在你四围的列国中和在所有路过的人眼前，成为羞辱的对象。我以怒气、烈怒和忿怒的责备向你施行审判的时候，你就必在你四围的列国中成为羞辱、讥讽和令人惊骇的对象，也成了他们的警戒。这是我耶和华说的。我射出饥荒和毁灭的毒箭的时候，是为了毁灭你们。我要使你们的饥荒加剧，断绝你们粮食的供应。我要差遣饥荒和恶兽到你们那里去，使你丧掉儿女；在你中间必到处发生瘟疫和流血的事；我也必使刀剑临到你。这是我耶和华说的。”

他们必跟随耶和华；耶和华要像狮子吼叫；他一吼叫，他们就从西方战战兢兢而来。他们必战战兢兢而来，像从埃及赶来的飞鸟，如从亚述地赶来的鸽子，我要使他们住在自己的房子里。这是耶和华说的。

耶路撒冷啊，醒来！醒来！站起来吧！你从耶和华的手中喝了他烈怒的杯，喝尽了那使人摇摇摆摆的爵。

你们说：我们要像列国的人，像列邦的各族一样去事奉木头和石头。你们心里所起的这意念，必不能成就。“‘我指着我的永生起誓：我必用大能的手，伸出来的膀臂，以及倒出来的烈怒，统治你们。这是主耶和华的宣告。我必用大能的手，伸出来的膀臂，以及倒出来的烈怒，把你们从万族中领出来，从你们所分散到的列邦招聚你们。我要把你们带到万族的旷野，在那里当面审判你们。

天上的万象震动，人因为等待即将临到世界的事，都吓昏了。

“人子啊！你要战战兢兢地吃你的饭，满心忧虑地喝你的水。你要对这地的人民说：‘论到耶路撒冷的居民和以色列地，主耶和华这样说：他们要满心忧虑地吃他们的饭，十分惊惶地喝他们的水；因为所有居民的强暴，这地必全然荒凉。

耶和华说：“看哪！我必下令，我必在列国中筛以色列家，好像人用筛子筛谷，但谷粒不会落在地上。我民中所有犯罪的人，就是那些说：‘灾祸必不临近、追上我们’的人，他们必死在刀下。

我一听见，就全身发抖；因这声音，我嘴唇震颤。腐烂侵蚀我骨，我在站立之地战兢。我静候灾难之日，犯境的民上来。

因为遍地都是水，那鸽子找不着歇脚的地方，就回到挪亚的方舟那里；于是，挪亚伸出手去，把鸽子接进方舟里来。
