昔耶和華以善待爾、昌熾爾為悅、厥後以毀滅爾、殲殄爾為悅、使爾絕於所入而得之地、

昔耶和華善待爾曹、使爾眾多、是其所喜、厥後殲滅爾曹、使爾盡亡、絕於所據之地、亦其所喜。

昔主善待爾、使爾眾多、是主所喜、厥後主殲滅爾、使爾盡亡、絕絕原文作見拔於爾所往欲得之地、亦主所喜、

Just as it pleased the Lord to make you prosper and increase in number, so it will please him to ruin and destroy you. You will be uprooted from the land you are entering to possess.

It pleased the Lord to give you success and to cause there to be many of you. But it will please him just as much to wipe you out and destroy you. You will be removed from the land you are entering to take as your own.

And as the Lord took delight in doing you good and multiplying you, so the Lord will take delight in bringing ruin upon you and destroying you. And you shall be plucked off the land that you are entering to take possession of it.

“ Just as the Lord has found great pleasure in causing you to prosper and multiply, the Lord will find pleasure in destroying you. You will be torn from the land you are about to enter and occupy.

Just as the LORD was glad to cause you to prosper and to multiply you, so he will also be glad to cause you to perish and to destroy you. You will be ripped out of the land you are entering to possess.

And it will come about that, just as the Lord rejoiced over you to be good to you, and make you numerous, so will the Lord rejoice over you to wipe you out and destroy you; and you will be torn away from the land which you are entering to possess.

And it shall be, that just as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good and multiply you, so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you and bring you to nothing; and you shall be plucked from off the land which you go to possess.

And it shall come to pass, that, as Jehovah rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you, so Jehovah will rejoice over you to cause you to perish, and to destroy you; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest in to possess it.

Just as the Lord was glad to cause you to prosper and to multiply you, so He will also be glad to cause you to perish and to destroy you. You will be deported from the land you are entering to possess.

And it shall come to pass,[ that] as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it.

This is what will happen: Just as the LORD delighted to do good for you and make you numerous, he will take delight in destroying and decimating you. You will be uprooted from the land you are about to possess.

It will happen that as Yahweh rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you, so Yahweh will rejoice over you to cause you to perish and to destroy you. You will be plucked from the land that you are going in to possess.

所以你們遭難的時候，我就發笑；驚恐臨到你們的日子，我就嗤笑。

我必喜歡他們，使他們得到福樂；我必全心全意、真誠地把他們栽種在這地上。’

耶和華你的神在你中間，他是施行拯救的大能者，必因你歡欣快樂，必默然愛你，而且必因你喜樂歡唱。”

耶和華你的神必使你手裡所辦的一切事、你身所生的、牲畜所出的、地土所產的，都豐盛有餘，因為耶和華必再喜悅你，使你得福，像從前喜悅你的列祖一樣；

“這樣我的怒氣才可以發盡，我向他們所發的烈怒才可以平息，自己才得到舒暢。我向他們所發的烈怒完全發盡的時候，他們就知道我耶和華說過的話是出於嫉恨的心。

因此，主萬軍之耶和華，以色列的大能者說：“哎！我要向我的對頭雪恨，向我的仇敵報復。

有何神像你，赦免罪孽，不追究產業之餘民的過犯呢？他不永遠懷怒，因為他喜愛憐憫。

你要對他們說：‘主耶和華這樣宣告：我指著我的永生起誓，我絕不喜悅惡人死亡，卻喜悅惡人離開他所行的，得以存活。以色列家啊，回轉吧！離開你們所行的，何必死亡呢？’

因為年輕人怎樣娶處女，那建造你的也必怎樣娶你；新郎怎樣因新娘歡樂，你的神也必怎樣因你歡樂。

我先前怎樣留意把他們拔出、拆毀、傾覆、毀滅和降災；將來我也必照樣留意把他們建立和栽種起來。”這是耶和華的宣告。

耶和華你的神必把這些國的民，從你面前漸漸趕出去；你不可以把他們迅速地滅盡，恐怕田間的野獸多起來害你。

把肥牛犢牽來宰了，我們要吃喝快樂，因為我這兒子是死而復活、失而又得的。’他們就歡樂起來。

我必關注他們，眷顧他們，領他們歸回這地。我必建立他們，必不拆毀；我必栽植他們，必不拔除。

只是因為你這個弟弟是死而復活、失而又得的，我們應該歡喜快樂。’”

回到家裡，請朋友鄰舍來，對他們說：‘請大家和我一同歡樂，因為我失去的羊已經找到了！’我告訴你們，因為一個罪人悔改，天上也要這樣為他歡樂，比為九十九個不用悔改的義人歡樂更大。“或是一個女人，有十個銀幣（“銀幣”原文作“拉克瑪”，一個“拉克瑪”相當於一天的工資），失去一個，哪能不點上燈，打掃屋子，細細地找，直到找著呢？既找著了，就請朋友鄰舍來，說：‘請大家和我一同歡樂，因為我失去的那個銀幣，已經找到了。’我告訴你們，因為一個罪人悔改，神的使者也必這樣為他歡樂。”

耶和華對耶利米說：“你要這樣對他說：‘耶和華這樣說：看哪！我所建立的，我必拆毀；我所栽種的，我必拔除。我必這樣對待全地。

耶和華這樣說：“至於所有邪惡的鄰國，他們侵犯我賜給我子民以色列的產業；看哪！我要把他們從本地拔出來，也要把猶大家從他們中間拔出來。但我把他們拔出來以後，我必再憐憫他們，把他們領回來，各自歸回自己的產業，自己的故鄉。

‘你們若決意住在這地，我就建立你們，必不拆毀；栽植你們，必不拔除；因我為那已經降在你們身上的災禍回心轉意。

我甚麼時候宣布要拔出、拆毀、毀滅一邦或一國，

拋屍和倒灰的整個山谷，以及從汲淪溪直到東邊馬門拐角一帶所有的墓地，都必歸耶和華為聖，永遠不再拔出，不再傾覆。”

我正在究察這些角的時候，看見角的中間長出另一個小角來。在這小角前面，有三個先前的角連根被拔起來。這小角有眼，像人的眼，又有一張說誇大話的嘴。
