『倘若你不謹慎遵行寫在這書上的這律法之一切話，不敬畏這榮耀而可畏懼的名：「耶和華你的上帝」，

如爾不守此書所載法律之言、不畏爾上帝耶和華尊榮可畏之名、

如爾不守此書所錄律法諸言、爾上帝耶和華尊榮可畏之名、爾如不畏、

如爾不謹守遵行此書所載律法諸言、不畏主爾之天主、不畏其至尊可畏之名、

If you do not carefully follow all the words of this law, which are written in this book, and do not revere this glorious and awesome name— the Lord your God—

Be careful to follow all the words of this law. They are written in this scroll. Have respect for the glorious and wonderful name of the Lord your God. If you don’t,

“ If you refuse to obey all the words of instruction that are written in this book, and if you do not fear the glorious and awesome name of the Lord your God,

“ If you are not careful to obey all the words of this law, which are written in this scroll, by fearing this glorious and awe-inspiring name— the LORD, your God—

“ If you do not carefully observe all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and awesome name, THE LORD YOUR GOD,

If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, JEHOVAH THY GOD;

“ If you are not careful to obey all the words of this law, which are written in this scroll, by fearing this glorious and awesome name— Yahweh, your God—

If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD;

“ If you refuse to obey all the words of this law, the things written in this scroll, and refuse to fear this glorious and awesome name, the LORD your God,

If you will not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and fearful name, YAHWEH your God,

I am the Lord, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to idols.

And God said to Moses,“ I AM WHO I AM”; and He said,“ This is what you shall say to the sons of Israel:‘ I AM has sent me to you.’ ”God furthermore said to Moses,“ This is what you shall say to the sons of Israel:‘ The Lord, the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you.’ This is My name forever, and this is the name for all generations to use to call upon Me.

“ Hear, My people, and I will speak; Israel, I will testify against you; I am God, your God.

You shall fear only the Lord your God; and you shall worship Him and swear by His name.

Yet they did not listen to Me or incline their ear, but stiffened their neck; they did more evil than their fathers.“ So you shall speak all these words to them, but they will not listen to you; and you shall call to them, but they will not answer you.And you shall say to them,‘ This is the nation that did not obey the voice of the Lord their God or accept discipline; trustworthiness has perished and has been eliminated from their mouth.

God spoke further to Moses and said to him,“ I am the Lord;and I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob as God Almighty, but by My name, Lord, I did not make Myself known to them.

They have lied about the Lord And said,“ Not He; Misfortune will not come upon us, Nor will we see sword or famine.

“ But it shall come about, if you do not obey the Lord your God, to be careful to follow all His commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:

Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will also help you, I will also uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

And the Lord descended in the cloud and stood there with him as he called upon the name of the Lord.Then the Lord passed by in front of him and proclaimed,“ The Lord, the Lord God, compassionate and merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in faithfulness and truth;who keeps faithfulness for thousands, who forgives wrongdoing, violation of His Law, and sin; yet He will by no means leave the guilty unpunished, inflicting the punishment of fathers on the children and on the grandchildren to the third and fourth generations.”

So that they will know that You alone, whose name is the Lord, Are the Most High over all the earth.

Then the Levites, Jeshua, Kadmiel, Bani, Hashabneiah, Sherebiah, Hodiah, Shebaniah, and Pethahiah said,“ Arise, bless the Lord your God forever and ever! May Your glorious name be blessed And exalted above all blessing and praise!

‘ But if you do not obey Me and do not carry out all these commandments,if, instead, you reject My statutes, and if your soul loathes My ordinances so as not to carry out all My commandments, but rather to break My covenant,

Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, offer sacrifices to Baal, and follow other gods that you have not known,then come and stand before Me in this house which is called by My name, and say,‘ We are saved!’— so that you may do all these abominations?

And blessed be His glorious name forever; And may the whole earth be filled with His glory. Amen and Amen.

And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

For we know Him who said,“ Vengeance is Mine, I will repay.” And again,“ The Lord will judge His people.”It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

“ I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

“ But cursed be the swindler who has a male in his flock and vows it, but sacrifices a blemished animal to the Lord, for I am a great King,” says the Lord of armies,“ and My name is feared among the nations.”

Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let’s show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe;for our God is a consuming fire.
