“如果你不谨守遵行写在这书上的这律法的一切话，不敬畏这荣耀和可畏的名，就是耶和华你的神，

“如果你不謹守遵行寫在這書上的這律法的一切話，不敬畏這榮耀和可畏的名，就是耶和華你的神，

『倘若你不謹慎遵行寫在這書上的這律法之一切話，不敬畏這榮耀而可畏懼的名：「耶和華你的上帝」，

如爾不守此書所載法律之言、不畏爾上帝耶和華尊榮可畏之名、

如爾不守此書所錄律法諸言、爾上帝耶和華尊榮可畏之名、爾如不畏、

如爾不謹守遵行此書所載律法諸言、不畏主爾之天主、不畏其至尊可畏之名、

If you do not carefully follow all the words of this law, which are written in this book, and do not revere this glorious and awesome name— the Lord your God—

Be careful to follow all the words of this law. They are written in this scroll. Have respect for the glorious and wonderful name of the Lord your God. If you don’t,

我是耶和华，这是我的名；我必不把我的荣耀归给别人，也不把我当受的称赞归给雕刻的偶像。

神回答摩西：“我是‘自有永有者’。”又说：“你要对以色列人这样说：‘那自有者派我到你们这里来。’”神又对摩西说：“你要对以色列人这样说：‘耶和华你们祖宗的神，就是亚伯拉罕的神、以撒的神、雅各的神，差遣我到你们这里来；这就是我永久的名字，也是世世代代中我被记念的名字。’

“我的子民哪！你们要听，我要说话；以色列啊！我要控诉你；我是神，是你的神。

你要敬畏耶和华你的神，要事奉他，奉他的名起誓。

你们（“你们”原文作“他们”）却没有听从，毫不留心，反倒硬着颈项行恶，比你们（“你们”原文作“他们”）的列祖还厉害。“你要把这一切话告诉他们，他们却不听从你；你呼叫他们，他们也不回应。然而，你要对他们说：‘这就是不听从耶和华他们神的话，不受管教的国；诚实丧尽，并已从他们的口中断绝了。

神告诉摩西说：“我是耶和华。我曾向亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各显现为全能的神，至于我的名字‘耶和华’，他们是不认识的。

他们不信耶和华，说：“他不会作什么，灾祸必不临到我们，我们也不会看见刀剑和饥荒。

“但是，如果你不听从耶和华你神的话，不谨守遵行我今日吩咐你的一切诫命和律例，以下这一切咒诅就必临到你身上，把你赶上。

不要惧怕，因为我与你同在；不要四处张望，因为我是你的神，我必坚固你，我必帮助你；我必用公义的右手扶持你。

耶和华在云彩中降下来，与摩西一同站在那里，并且宣告耶和华的名字。耶和华在摩西面前经过，并且宣告说：“耶和华，耶和华，是有怜悯有恩典的神，不轻易发怒，并且有丰盛的慈爱和诚实，为千千万万人留下慈爱，赦免罪孽、过犯和罪恶。一定要清除罪，追讨罪孽自父及子至孙，直到三四代。”

使他们知道只有你的名是耶和华，唯有你是掌管全地的至高者。

利未人耶书亚、甲篾、巴尼、哈沙尼、示利比、荷第雅、示巴尼和毗他希雅说：“你们要起立，称颂耶和华你们的神，直到永永远远。”“耶和华啊，你荣耀的名是应当称颂的；愿你的名被尊崇，超过一切称颂和赞美。

“但如果你们不听从我，不遵行这一切诫命；如果你们弃绝我的律例，你们的心厌弃我的典章，不遵行我的一切诫命，违背我的约，

你们怎可偷盗、凶杀、奸淫、起假誓、向巴力烧香，跟从你们素不认识的别神，然后来到这称为我名下的殿，站在我面前，说：‘我们安全啦！’你们这样就可以行这一切可憎的事吗？

他荣耀的名也是应当永远称颂的；愿他的荣耀充满全地。阿们，阿们。

那些杀身体却不能杀灵魂的，不要怕他们；倒要怕那位能把灵魂和身体都投入地狱里的。

因为我们知道谁说过：“伸冤在我，我必报应。”又说：“主必定审判他自己的子民。”落在永活的神手里，真是可怕的。

“我是耶和华你的神，曾经把你从埃及地，从为奴之家领出来。

万军之耶和华说：“凡以家畜中公的许了愿，却又诡诈地拿有残疾的献给主，那人当受咒诅；因为我是大君王，我的名在列国中是可敬畏的。”

因此，我们既然领受了不能震动的国，就应该感恩，照着神所喜悦的，用虔诚敬畏的心事奉他；因为我们的神是烈火。
