如爾不守此書所載法律之言、不畏爾上帝耶和華尊榮可畏之名、

如爾不守此書所錄律法諸言、爾上帝耶和華尊榮可畏之名、爾如不畏、

如爾不謹守遵行此書所載律法諸言、不畏主爾之天主、不畏其至尊可畏之名、

If you do not carefully follow all the words of this law, which are written in this book, and do not revere this glorious and awesome name— the Lord your God—

Be careful to follow all the words of this law. They are written in this scroll. Have respect for the glorious and wonderful name of the Lord your God. If you don’t,

“ If you are not careful to follow all the words of this Law that are written in this book, to fear this honored and awesome name, the Lord your God,

我是耶和華，這就是我的名字。我不會把我的榮耀給假神，也不會把我當受的讚美給雕刻的偶像。

上帝對摩西說：「我是自有永有者。你要這樣回答以色列人，『那位自有永有者派我到你們這裡。』」上帝又對摩西說：「你要告訴以色列人是我派遣你到他們那裡，我是他們祖先的上帝耶和華，是亞伯拉罕的上帝，以撒的上帝，雅各的上帝。耶和華是我的名字，直到永遠，世世代代的人都要這樣稱呼我。

祂說：「我的子民啊，聽我說！以色列啊，我要指控你！我是上帝，是你的上帝。

要敬畏你們的上帝耶和華，事奉祂，憑祂的名起誓。

但你們掩耳不聽，頑固不化，比你們的祖先更邪惡。耶利米啊，你將這番話告訴他們，他們也不會聽；你向他們呼籲，他們也不會回應。你要對他們說，『你們這些國民不聽你們上帝耶和華的話，不肯受管教，口中毫無真理。

上帝又對摩西說：「我是耶和華，我曾以全能上帝的身份向亞伯拉罕、以撒和雅各顯現，但沒有讓他們知道我的名字是耶和華。

「他們撒謊說，『耶和華不會管我們，我們必不會遇到災禍、戰爭和饑荒。

「你們若不聽從你們的上帝耶和華，不謹遵祂今天藉我吩咐你們的一切誡命和律例，祂必使以下的咒詛臨到你們。

我是你的上帝，我必與你同在，你不用驚慌也不用害怕。我必賜你力量，幫助你，用我公義的右手扶持你。』

耶和華在雲中降臨和摩西一同站在那裡，宣告祂的名——耶和華。耶和華在摩西面前經過，並且宣告說：「我是耶和華，我是耶和華，是有憐憫和恩典的上帝，不輕易發怒，充滿慈愛，無比信實，向千萬人彰顯慈愛，赦免罪惡和過犯，但決不免除罪責，必向子孫追討父輩的罪債，直到三四代。」

讓他們知道你是耶和華，唯有你是普天下的至高者。

利未人耶書亞、甲篾、巴尼、哈沙尼、示利比、荷第雅、示巴尼和毗他希雅說：「起來稱頌你們的上帝耶和華，直到永永遠遠。耶和華啊，你榮耀的聖名當受稱頌！願你的名被尊崇，超過一切稱頌和讚美！

「如果你們不聽從我，不遵行我的這一切誡命；如果你們拒絕遵守我的律例，厭棄我的典章，不聽從我的命令，破壞我與你們所立的約，

你們偷盜、謀殺、通姦、起假誓、向巴力獻祭、拜素不認識的神明，然後來到這用來敬拜我的殿，站在我面前說自己安全了，以為可以繼續做可憎之事。

願祂榮耀的名永受稱頌！願普天下充滿祂的榮耀。阿們！阿們！

那些只能殺害身體，不能毀滅靈魂的人，不用怕他們。但要畏懼那位有權將身體和靈魂一同毀滅在地獄裡的上帝。

我們知道上帝說過：「伸冤在我，我必報應。」祂又說：「主要審判祂的百姓。」落在永活上帝的手中是可怕的！

「我是你的上帝耶和華，曾把你領出埃及，使你不再受奴役。

許願時說要獻上羊群中的公羊，後來卻拿傷殘的來獻給主，這種人該受咒詛！因為我是大君王，就是外族人也敬畏我的名。這是萬軍之耶和華說的。」

那麼，既然我們承受的是一個不能被震動的國度，就要感恩，用虔誠和敬畏的心事奉上帝，討祂喜悅。因為我們的上帝是烈火。
